The plan is to win it in camp.
That's the plan every year for everybody.

Yup, you look at 2014, Coker was the presumed starter going into camp and Sims ended up being the starter. 2015, Cooper Bateman and David Cornwell were presume to be the leaders in the QB race, Coker ended up starting. 2016, Blake Barnett actually started the USC game, Jalen Hurts came in and has started ever since. Coach Saban is giving Hurts a chance to win the starting job.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Thirteen North Carolina football players will receive game suspensions after selling team-issued UNC Retro Air Jordan 3’s in January, the school announced on Monday.

Offensive lineman Brian Anderson, defensive end Malik Carney, wide receiver Beau Corrales, defensive end Tomon Fox, defensive end Tyrone Hopper, offensive lineman Quiron Johnson, linebacker Malik Robinson, quarterback Chazz Surratt and offensive lineman Jordan Tucker will each sit out four games. Defensive backs Greg Ross and Tre Shaw will miss two games, and quarterback Jack Davidson and offensive lineman Jonah Melton will miss one, per a school release.
Due to player safety concerns, the NCAA approved a request to stagger suspensions at the defensive end position. Carney will sit games against ECU, UCF, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, while Fox will sit against Miami, Syracuse, Virginia and Georgia Tech. All other suspensions will begin with the season opener at Cal on Sept. 1.

The suspended players will be permitted to participate with all team activities while serving their suspensions.

"I am certainly upset by our players' actions and how their choices reflect on them, our program and the University," head coach Larry Fedora said in a statement. "These young men knew the rules and are being held responsible for the poor choices they have made. Accountability is an important core principle in this program. We will learn from this and aim to do better in the future

They actually think they can just talk about him any kind of way... keep him out the loop so he won’t transfer... and that he should shut up and be a team player. Fukkin crackers :stopitslime:. They played it all wrong. What if Tua doesn’t have the Wolverine healing factor (I pray he doesn’t get hurt though) and Jalen hit them with the :mjpls:. Why even put yourself in that position? Just tell the man upfront what the plan is.... cause he deserves to know.
Jalen should have just transferred after the Chip game. Problem solved. Why sulk through a whole season and when you could be at your new school learning the offense? They really need to get rid of this transfer sit out one year bullshyt. Some of these players be getting the shaft.
