A lot of bama folks conveniently for get them slim years, i was in Tuscaloosa from 01-05, them were some slaw years. And it will be sad days after st Nick leaves
It'll be a step back but the good thing is Paul Bryant's coaching tree is dead and Bama folks not care anymore about getting a Bama man to coach the Crimson Tide. You conveniently left out the fact that Bama contended for a national title in 1994 and even won the SEC title in 1999. It was the ncaa sanctions that hurt Bama and ADs hiring Mike Dubose as HC that fuk it all up. Also, Bama's facilities were subpar prior to 2008. That's why this new AD is crucial, the powers that be are already planning for the day after Saban.
Bama still put up a few 10 win seasons during the dark years. If the ncaa sanctions never happened, we would've contended for at least a couple of national titles but then again Saban to Bama would've never happened.
