So what’s the point of even allowing them into the fbs? The whole thing is a sham which bring me back to my original point.
To play football & generate revenue :dwillhuh:

I'm not sure what kind of answer you're looking for :dwillhuh:

We already know that

Nah, we don't. Every game counts in the other sports because you're playing for a good seed.

Now what you may be experiencing is your disdain for the other leagues/sports. I go into college basketball knowing every game counts because that can be the difference from being a 1 seed and a 4 seed. Being a 4 seed makes our road much harder. Just because you feel that way doesn't mean it is.

People keep talking about the integrity of the regular in season stay in tact. Truth is, most games played on Saturdays during the fall are irrelevant in the big picture.

Expanding the playoffs doesn't hurt the regular season. Hell, conference championships have been rendered worthless under this setup. Seedings matter. Matchups matter. More college games would have an impact in shaping the championship picture. It's absurd that a "National" champion has such exclusivity on the amateur level. Certain college programs won't even be allowed to compete, mainly because of arbitrary nonsense. It'll make recruiting more interesting; players would be more inclined to go to the smaller school if they believe they could compete for a championship. Coaches wouldn't have to jump to mid level major conference schools just to feel like they have a chance.

I'm looking for a proper playoff where teams who've played their schedule, won their championships, etc. have an opportunity to play for the national championship. And we don't have that here.

Leggo Purdue

The bowls games are what they always been

Don’t try to act like the bowl games were any more of exhibitions before the CFP

The regular season was boring this year but that’s not the norm in CFB and you that

Expand the playoffs and regular season really stops mattering. The playoff is fine. There’s never more than 4 teams that deserve a shot at the chip in CFP and rarely is it 4
:patrice: TCU wouldn't agree with that

:whew: Them boys were clearly a top 4 team, if not the best

Because UCF is scheduling like some bytches, I don't get what part of that you don't get. Schedule tougher games like this & they'd have an argument:

Clemson has the same caliber of schedule that UCF has... I'm going to keep bringing this up. And it's valid because no matter if those teams that Clemson plays are having a bad year, the point still stands that they are trash and Clemson has stayed steady at #2 without anyone challenging them.

Rondale is good but that's the problem, he has a tendency to cut back behind the LOS to try & make something happen because he's so explosive, without realizing there's a defender on the backside edge waiting for him

Clemson & Bama got the juice like that. Who has UCF ever beaten worth a damn? :dame:
