Here @Silkk this quote sums up everything.

People keep talking about the integrity of the regular in season stay in tact. Truth is, most games played on Saturdays during the fall are irrelevant in the big picture.

Expanding the playoffs doesn't hurt the regular season. Hell, conference championships have been rendered worthless under this setup. Seedings matter. Matchups matter. More college games would have an impact in shaping the championship picture. It's absurd that a "National" champion has such exclusivity on the amateur level. Certain college programs won't even be allowed to compete, mainly because of arbitrary nonsense. It'll make recruiting more interesting; players would be more inclined to go to the smaller school if they believe they could compete for a championship. Coaches wouldn't have to jump to mid level major conference schools just to feel like they have a chance.

that's not the reason coaches jump to bigger schools. that's not the reason players choose certain schools.
we know the main reason it happens

Who has Clemson beat this year? If we're bringing in multiple years, UCF just beat Auburn last year.
Everybody on their power 5 schedule

I just wanna know when LSU puts an end to this little run in a few days, are you going to make excuses about them not having Milton or realize they was just some fraudulent ass hoes?

This just proves what I was thinking from the beginning .... Why bring in Chip Lindsey from Arizona State? He didn't look great out there. We were better off with Gus calling plays from the beginning .Have to keep watching though. See whether he can keep it up....

You keep missing my point. I think LSU is going to beat them by a couple tds. My point is, they've done everything they've needed to do to make it the the playoffs. Their schedule is the same caliber as Clemson, a team who is in the playoffs. But because of the P5 elitism, UCF games doesn't matter and Clemsons do. That's my problem with this whole thing. If you can't compete because of a committee that doesn't value your school and conference, then they should break up the league. It's a damn sham. P5 should call a spade a spade and brach off from everyone else. Right now they're just teasing nikkas.

That's fair. But it's also evidence of the influence money can have on a larger scale; bigger schools are incentivised to not allow smaller programs to even the playing field. It's good for, say, a Texas or Texas A&M that a school like Houston isn't in the "major" college football discussion. It's good for the Big 3 in Florida that a UCF can't make a playoff run. The small schools have an obvious, manageable ceiling for success, and that's best for the big boys.

You keep missing my point, schedule better competition like Houston & Boise does and they wouldn't have anything to cry about.

They have the same caliber schedule as Clemson. A team that's in the CFP right now.

Even so, LSU should beat them by two TDs just off the talent/athletic difference alone.

Probably going to look like the LSU/Oregon game a few years ago or anytime they'd play A&M under Sumlin.

Man, if Moore just wanted to be the man on campus for 3-4 years and get drafted then Purdue was a good choice. But if he seriously wanted to win WHILE getting a lot of touches he should've gone to Texas, PSU or OSU. Brohm is trying to make things work but the Makers are destined to be a B1G doormat

Clemson has played & beaten 11 Power Five teams.

UCF has played & beaten one. Stop it breh.

But if the p5 teams they've played are garbage what difference does it make? The AAC ain't that much different from the ACC.
