:dead: There isn't a single player on your roster, or in the next draft on KAT's level, yet you believe the Celtics are more talented than the Wolves? They have two of the best players under 23 in the league, you have zero.

What part of "If healthy" are you failing to grasp when it comes to the Sixers?

If you had a choice to GM both teams right now, which team would you take considering talent, cap space, and assets?

That's what I thought.

You're coming with a hypothetical when the reality is your GM is great at amassing assets, not so great at drafting, and is absolutely terrified to make a deal. What good are assets if you never do anything with them? Yall had the chance to get one of the top 5 players under 23 and balked at it and then yall missed out on Butler, now you're trying to trade for PG?

If the end result of all these assets and capspace is signing Gordon Hayward then yall lost, he doesn't move the needle like that and you'd still be lacking what the Wolves and Sixers have, which is players with potential to be top 5 in the league. Nevermind that taking Tatum, then signing Hayward is hustling backwards because it deflates the value of Tatum long term.

Something people in the media who lick Ainges balls aren't considering is what if some of those picks he has in his treasure chest lose value?

What if the Nets overachieve and in next years draft that falls off a cliff after the top 5 you get like the 8th pick?

What if the Lakers do better then expected so u get the Kings pick and who knows what they are in 2 years

It's a fine line Ainge has to navigate because these assets might be worth a lot more right now then they are a year from now who knows

At some point you have to move the unknown for known commodities, I do not understand why you'd be trying to sign Gordon Hayward or trade for Paul George after you drafted a damn small forward?

And as you said the teams you mentioned already have the player you can build around the Celtics don't

They didn't get it this year and while there's a few intriguing players next year I don't see a Towns Embiid or even KP level talent that's a no brainer franchise guy

Dude traded out of the number one pick and then says would have taken Tatum number one and you say he has no balls?

You yourself said the offer for porzingis would have been too much, the Celtics are trying to be spurs lite and crazy deep with GOOD players they can't gut their team for one player

You yourself talk about the next draft and the Celtics have a legit chance at TWO top six picks

But you wanna take the plunge based on a 5% chance embiid has a long healthy career

30 games in 3 years. Just had another surgery. He will NEVER be able to do a 70 game regular season and a deep playoff run. It's a fact.

And simmons and fultz are soft as baby shyt.

Lakers aren't gonna add anybody that sacrifices their cap this year. They are basically on that Miami heat blueprint where Ingram is likely the only contract they'll be okay with rolling over into next year. They are not trying to compete this year, everything will be 1 year deals or 1 year with team option.

So I do think we will get that pick next year

I don't see people clamoring for any picks beyond the lakers/kings and Brooklyn pick...
The rest are just throw ins, but the Memphis pick has a chance to be good down the road

Wouldn't Tatum be the third string behind Hayward and Brown?

Tatum can and will play the 4. He will have a similar season to Jaylen Brown and he will have to earn his minutes with defense.

It's likely that 1 or possibly 2 of crowder Bradley smart and rozier are not on this team next season... he will get minutes

I talk about next years draft because I like Bamba, but he's years away and he's a project no matter who picks him because he's physically a long way off from being strong enough to play the 4.

I said it was too much for 2 Nets picks + Brown (which is essentially all 3 Nets picks) but getting the 3 and next years Nets pick + Bradley / Crowder would have done it, but in typical Ainge fashion he didn't want to give up next years Nets pick.

How are you assigning percentages to Embiid's health? You clearly miss the point whenever anyone talks about the Sixers it's under the pretense of them being healthy. Everyone knows health is an issue, but if he somehow does manage to be healthy it's a wrap for you, you simply do not have anyone even remotely close to his talent level. Just like you don't have anyone close to KAT, shyt you'd be lucky if Jaylen Brown is 80% of what Wiggins is right now.

Fultz & Simmons are soft cause they were drafted by the Sixers, before that you were talking about how great both were when it seemed like they'd be Celtics :mjlol:
