Kuzma is in a better position to succeed.
Depends how you look at it. Lauri is being setup as a focal point of the offense and has higher expectations. I think that’s a positive for him and he has the tools and mindset to succeed.

He had a 20 game stretch of 23 & 12 before the team shut him down for the year. To act like he’s grouped in with a bunch of nobodies is just inaccurate. Clear all star talent.

Lauri Markkanen is better than Kyle Kuzma. He's definitely gonna be one of the best players from this class. I just hope Wendell Carter Jr stays healthy.

I think Markkanen could end up being the best player from this draft...and yeah I know Jason Tatum was in that draft...

Tatum shot selection became HILARIOUSLY bad this year...he shot the ball like he knew nobody was going to ever pass it to him again for the rest of the quarter...

It's rare a guy shot selection gets worse from year 1 to year 2 and Tatums got WAY worse...interested to see if it was solely because of Kyrie...maybe...and Hayward...doubt it cause he became timid with the ball...

Probably cause that happened on many occasions :russ:

I think there was one game in particular, against the Bulls maybe, where Tatum scored the Celtics first 10-12 points and got like 2 FGA the rest of the game

I think it was a combination of knowing his attempts were limited and also him falling for the hype and trying to be Kobe instead of just playing his game

They played the spurs at the end of December and Tatum took them infamous Andrew Bynum 3's:russ:
