this will be our third straight season with a new starting qb and rb... and mcelroy and mccarron were both first time starters with first time starting rbs when they won their natl titles

As recently as those ships, Bama could win games by scoring 24 points and holding the defense to 10. That era has come and gone. Bama will get in shootouts, and they will be tested.

It seems that a lot of our predictions are based on two things

Who is better between LSU and Alabama
Who wins between FSU and Clemson
Who wins the B1G

I'm betting on LSU surprising you guys.

They could even lose vs. Wisconsin in Lambeau but they wont, because theyre having serious line problems right now...and afford to drop another game...they face bama at home, after a bye week. Auburn is weak. aTm is weak. Ole piss is ole piss and hell they could lose that if they beat bama.

I honestly have a coin flip when it comes to clemson vs fsu but i like clemson again.

Michigan is in the big ten. :smugbaugh: thats all i gotta say about that.

I think both the Pac and the big 12 get shut out, and that furthers the 8 team format conversation.

This is why I'm not picking Clemson or Watson to win anything. The hot team of the off-season never succeeds the following year like most predict. Same with the preseason Heisman. College football never goes as the experts predict.

Just remember what everyone was saying at this time last year.

(1) Ohio State was a lock to repeat.
(2) The Big 12 was between Baylor and TCU.
(3) Trevone Boykin and Ezekiel Elliott would battle for the Heisman.


None of that shyt happened. And neither will whatever the consensus is right now. Bama and Clemson will not repeat as #1 and #2. Watson and McCaffrey won't be #1 and #2 for the heisman. Etc.

Yeah I can see TCU getting jobbed that brand name matters they found that out in 2014. Pac 12 is a mess I think the winner might have 3 losses so they won't matter it's gonna come down to ND,TCU and Clemson. If undefeated or 1 loss ND is going against undefeated or 1 loss TCU ND is winning 10 out of 10 times when it comes to stroke.
