It's a shame we never got any USC vs SEC schools in bowl game in the 00s. Who wins these hypothetical games

2003 USC vs LSU Sugar Bowl

Man Auburn the craziest team. You never know when them nikkas gon be good. Like randomly they'll go undefeated then the next 6 years be utter trash then randomly win a year then go back down

2004,2010,2013......That's more than any other team outside of Alabama and LSU in the SEC since 2000. Tied with Florida.

People hyped up last year because of Muschamp, and Jeremy Johnson. Muschamp couldn't get the defense up to standard until halfway through the season, they started playing better. Jeremy Johnson had all the tools but didn't have everything mentally ready to go. Also, young running backs. A top receiver kicked off the team. Just a lot of turmoil like most years Auburn doesn't live up to expectations.

This year is another beast though. Defense a lot more talented and experienced. Knowing how we'll use players on offense better. The running back group is actually deeper than last year, plus the h-back position. More talented wide receivers added to the group.

People lookin at us funny but Big 12 was neck and neck for the GOAT conf of the 2000's.

Big12 is a classic, historic conference. I was dismayed and disheartened by the dissolution talks. I thought it was shortsighted, and alotta folks jumped the gun and on the bandwagon of the idiocy the sports pundits spewed. Immense talent coming out of that region and the conference has spawned some of the greatest teams and games ever. It'd be fukked up for CFB if the Big12 was dissolved. that'll be the day when CFB starts to decay if that ever happened.,

I'm in NC and I was dying when local radio folks tried to take shots at Big12 football during the dissolution talks... the nerve of the fukkin' ACC shills to take shots... the nerve of these guys that went all the way up to fukking Pennsylvania to stay afloat, and still hadn't gotten any ROI in terms of performance and national stature from the move with ol' school clemson and former indy FSU carrying the mantle.

With that said, y'all gotta get a champ. game.

I don't know if I'd call the Big 12-2 a classic, historic conference when it's only 20 years old. It was just the merging of the Southwest and Big 8

This is the main reason I ain't as high on y'all as I was last season.

I'm concerned about the talent level of your front 7. It ain't what LSU is used to.

Last year your best defensive lineman was a true freshmen (Arden Key) and your interior was not very good. LaCoutre and Godchaux are solid backup types for a title contender. They are not starting type players. Also I don't think your linebackers are very impressive either. Not a big fan of Kendall Beckwith.

Death Valley is the only reason I give y'all a chance versus Alabama.

Based on talent I think Alabama is much better on defense.

For one Yu forgetting this is Ed Orgeron 2nd year with the group I expect them to vastly improve. Idk what Yu talkin bout they lack talent. yu prolly just sayin that because they're not these big 5 star recruits Yu like but all the players Yu mention will play on Sundays. Including Lewis Neal who Yu didn't mention. All these guys aside from Lacouture have been projected first rounders at some point.

Homie... it's a storied conference with a proud tradition. If you wanna discredit the Big12 then you're essentially left with nothing in CFB.

Especially when you got the AAC and Conference USA surpassing the PAC12.
