Maybe not in 2013, but they wouldn't have put yall in in 08 after just losing while UF, USC, Texas, & OU were all sitting thereWe wouldn't have played them if it was a 4 team playoff
Alabama might have 2 more titles if they were doing the playoffs in 2008 and 2013
we dodged a bullet...Not playing this season. Academics. Going to redshirt him.
we dodged a bullet...
Despite getting blown out to Washington, I didn't even care, that is how much I enjoyed watching this kid. The rest of the year will be an up and down struggle, but it will be worth it. The hype about this kid appears to be real. On one weeks practice, no help from his teammates, and one of the country's best defenses and being a true freshman...he more than held his own and flat out showed glimpses of serious potential.Justin Hebert is the future.

He doesn't have the experience, but the pure talent is far greater than Prukop, you have to play him the rest of the year. The rest of the team needs to get their shyt together, because Herbert is going to pop later this year/next year and they need to be ready to support him.
Oregon's defense is 126th in the country. Its going to take whoever the next coach is at least 2-3 years to build a respectable defense100% Agree..
Breh, it really sucks that we got blown out. But watching Hebert really gave me hope. Like you say, it looks like the hype was real. Just watching Justin move calmly in the pocket was great to watch. The Huskies D is legit, and the kid came out and played very well for a true freshman.
We just need to get the D straighten out going into next year. Looking like Dye is going to be a star, but I don't know. The D is our problem.
But I am really pumped about Justin, very impressed with how he played last night. Just going to enjoy his development this year. And hope to see flashes from the D.
But Man, we have are QB. And that is a good thing.

I still can't believe Oregon hired this dude as Offensive Coordinator
