I agree it's the case. I'm not ready to crown one much better than the other but MKGs defense does stand out.
One thing though I'll give Barnes credit for In the finals. I think it was the third quarter/ fourth quarter moments of the last few games when golden state had gone small ball. LeBron would be so tired he old hardly rebound and Barnes stole a ton of rebounds. He got offensive rebounds giving golden state second chances.. It reached a point they had to give LeBron those long rests and that's when warriors were pulling away. It wasn't Barnes that caused brons exhaustion but he was was a key part of how they took advantage when he did get tired.
All along they should have had iggy defend bron though.
I'm curious to see in the next two years who stands out between porter, MKG and Barnes because they were all high pick small forwards

Kyrie Irving Could Be Out Until January

The rehabilitation of Kyrie Irving from a fractured kneecap is going smoothly, but he is almost certainly not going to be ready for the Cleveland Cavaliers' opener on Oct. 27.
Irving could remain out until January.
Irving underwent surgery in early June with an expected recovery time of three to four months.
The Cavaliers want to bring him back slowly without risking a setback, with the goal of being at full strength entering the playoffs.
