It's not about the young players. Young players without the possibility of winning is like watching minor league baseball while your pro team is getting their ass kicked. Their success won't mean anything til it correlates with the success of the team.

I think Rich Paul done lost his mind now. I know he can point to his daddy LeBron when negotiating gets tough but this n***a Tristan really might out-price himself on dollars. I can honestly see GM's taking a stance on him like
"take it or leave it". For Toronto to even make room to give TT his max next year Demar Derozan would have to opt out 1, or leave entirely. If the Cavs stay healthy this season their big 3 rotation of Mozgov, Love, and Thompson I don't see Tristan having the opportunity to show out to the point where any GM really throws him comfortably before the post-offer clarity

LeBron ain't leaving the Cavs anymore. He knows it's not a good PR move and I highly doubt he wants more backlash for him bouncing because of Tristan Thompson. They'll throw Mozgov Tristan's money and move on 
That's more than Kyrie Irving makes.
