Mudiay playing in China instead of going to play in Europe against better competition makes me kinda shook. Is he ducking better competition? :francis:

If we're going PG, we should go for d'angelo. No homo but I can tell by a players appearance if they're gonna be a tar and no homo again, Russell will be a star. :whoo:

To answer the bolded..the NCAA was taking too long to let him know if he qualified to play college ball so he took the money overseas.

Not sure if him and Russell matched up on the circuit though...

Those passes, imagine him feeding Embiid and Nerlens those :wow:

His court vision and passing ability is his most intriguing skill to me

Yep
So skilled, those floaters and post fadeaways too. fukk athleticism, when his fundamentals are off the chart.
If he was white, it'd be hilarious to see how they'd describe him.

Russell plays the game the right way :troll:
He's sneaky athletic :troll:
A hard worker and locker room guy :troll:

If Okafor were a legit 7 feet tall without shoes on he'd be going first in the draft and this wouldn't even be up for debate, period.

And I've said many times Okafor is the same size (minus standing reach) as Boogie, where has Boogie gotten the Kings? Best center in the league, yet they're probably going to draft Willie Cauley Stein to protect the paint. It's never been about Okafor's offense, it's about his defense, you're talking like I said he'd be a bust, I said he's Boogie many times over and that also includes needing a big next to him that can defend.

then we're in complete agreement. the way you were talking it was almost as if you were saying he's a scrub. Okafor will be a great player in the league but he's not gonna carry a team to the title ala duncan. what he'll be is a 20/10 guy that with the proper roster can contend. the lakers because of their history and ability to attract stars should do that.

I also think his defense can be good enough that he won't need a serge ibaka next to him to be a winner. boogie's problem isn't lack of rim protection. its the fact he ain't got dudes on his roster. if he was on the clippers instead of deandre, they'd be hoisting up the o'brien trophy.

It's doubtful breh, I'd temper my expectations of him, just look at how long it took Bynum to start producing big numbers.

His body needs to adjust to the pro game, then he needs to figure out what works and what doesn't. Davis being a pick and pop big is a lot different than Embiid having to play on the low block.

my biggest concern with joel now besides the injury risk is his CHARACTER. i don't know if dude wants to be great. he comes off as another dwight howard. he seems to enjoy what the game brings him (fame, fortune, etc.) rather than just loving the game for what it is. the fact he became overweight. his goofy antics. etc. he just comes off as a dude that doesn't have that hunger that is neccesary to be great.

i think he's destined to be another big we remember as being a dissapointment.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I think Justin Anderson is a better fit for the Cavaliers than Rondae. @tremonthustler1

He won't need to try and create offense or be asked to dribble the ball often. All of his looks would come off the ball.

His shot is shaky but I think that can be fixed and his defensive potential is needed (I feel like he could eventually guard 4 positions in spurts). Especially with the Cavs because they switch on pick and rolls often.

His lack of production outside of scoring is a slight concern. But I'm more concerned about Rondae's shooting form. There is no quick fix for the way he shoots. And if you can't shoot as a wing or guard you're not getting on the court with LeBron James.

I know the Cavs scouts have been keeping tabs on Anderson the past 2 years.

I dont think he will be available at 24

Other than taking a chance on Upshaw, hes who Im hoping the Bulls select

I could also see him shooting up draft boards as we get closer to the draft

I don't think he will either. I think he should go in the 15-20 range because his skill set matches with just about anybody that has a ball dominant player as the main guy.

Delon Wright, Justin Anderson, or Robert Upshaw is who I'd want at #24.

I was responding to Tre because he had the Cavs taking RHJ when Anderson was still on the board in his mock.

He Orlando Magic are in a very strange situation at this point in their rebuild I personally think they should take BPA without any regards to positional fits....

They have
C:Vuccimane/Oquinn
PF:Frye/Gordon
SF:Harris (I doubt he leaves)/Harkless
SG:Oladipo/Fournier
PG:Payton

They could use any of Mario/WCS/Winslow/Johnson/Kristops

So to me they have no need in trying to fit a player into a positional need...So if I were them my pick would be Justice Winslow.

I'm a big Winslow fan but the Magic need to draft one of the Euros to space the floor

If they draft Winslow that teams defensive potential is scary but in the half court offensively they will struggle a lot

It would also give them some ability to leverage with Mozgov's free agency in 2016.

Either way it goes they have the tools to fix 3 holes this summer (pause). They need a 3rd guard who can run an offense and defend quick PGs, an actual back-up for LeBron, and another big.
