first of all, who said towns didn't have the heigher ceiling? given the choice, i'd prolly take towns #1 as well. but your reasoining is stupid. no one is saying we gotta take towns above okafor because okafor is not a legit 7 foot center. towns is going #1 because he's more athletic and has a better shot right now. towns weaknesses can be taught while jahlil's arguably can't.
okafor (even if he hasn't grown an inch since the hoops summit) is the same size and wingspan as Demarcus Cousins. a guy most would say is probably the best center in the league or if not, in the top 2 or 3. i don't see why jahlil can't AT LEAST duplicate cousin's success individually in the league so far. this ain't chuck hayes we talkin bout. his size is more than adequate for the position.
For comparison, how does okafor compare to Tim Duncan's size? Are they comparable?
D'eangelo Russell breh@AAKing23 u on the clock
D'eangelo Russell breh
you lucky okafor isn't a laker yet @Malta, i wouldn't be allowing this disrespect. you got 1 more month to pop off.
*deletes prior 30 posts calling okafor al jeff at best*
Jahlil Duncan ROY lock
*goes back to shytting on Okafor if we draft someone else*
I know we haven't seen Mudiay except on higlights but who would you pick between him and Russel?
What slander? I think he's a 20/10 guy, but his defense will be ass.
If yall pick Mudiay how fast are you gonna dump Clarkson
It depends on the team, for the Sixers they can go a head and pick Russell, if Embiid is good offensively they'll need his shooting. I think the Knicks need to pick Mudiay if both guys are available
Embiid is gonna have an Anthony Davis like progession IMO 1st year he'll probably average 12-14 ppg with 8 rebs but in his second year he will explode And hit around that 20 and 10 mark What do you think? @MaltaEmbiid is a monster, goddamn hes gonna be special if he has good health
Mudiay playing in China instead of going to play in Europe against better competition makes me kinda shook. Is he ducking better competition?
If we're going PG, we should go for d'angelo. No homo but I can tell by a players appearance if they're gonna be a tar and no homo again, Russell will be a star.

Always the chance he explodes right off the bat If he does then.....
Not a believer in Mudiay? Somebody made a good point though, he was the 2nd ranked player in the class for the longest, I'm sure if we checked he and Russell probably went head to head in AAU ball.
I think he's going to take longer than Davis, he hasn't played as much basketball and also missed a full season. I wouldn't expect him to start really coming into his own until around 23-24 years old, that's around the time centers really start to figure things out.
His rookie year will probably be really great advanced stats, where he's averaging like 12/8/2/1 in 25mpg. Centers take longer to develop, even Boogie didn't really explode until last year.
