My Pops Forever RIP
What are yall going to do with that log jam in the Frontcourt

KG/Bennet/Payne/Towns/Bjeica/Dieng and the corpse of Peko that's a lot of roster spots dedicated to the 4/5.

Bennett = bushes
Bjelica = might get dealt next week
KG = only a starter in name
Payne = mercy minutes

If anything they need Bjelica

Man if Russell goes to LA...I would be all over Okafor if I'm the 76ers not that fkin Euro. The guards still gonna suck for another year but shyt you can't ask for a better front court mate for Okafor than Noel and vice versa. Especially if Noel can get that jumper down.

AD had a better cast around him than Towns did and you could argue that if not for the Harrison Twins he wins a title too.

Wiggins was very inconsistent in college and was getting outshined by Embiid. Like I said during the season I compare it to Beasley and Rose
Harrison Twins were able to get to the National Title Game with Julius Randle as the lead guy, James Young, & WCS. Towns had WCS, Booker, Poythress, Lyles should have been enough. The Kentucky back ups would be starters on every other college team. Harrison Twins were pretty bad this year though. Wiggins had the 30+ point scoring outbursts and the elite athleticism that had him in the convo for the number one pick with Embiid & Parker. Even before Embiid got hurt before the draft, it was a toss up between Embiid & Wiggins, with most going with Wiggins since he didn't show signs of being injured and since the NBA is a perimeter game. Towns didn't standout like the previous number one picks before him. He still is going to be good, I think best case scenario he is Al Horford imo. His game is more of a 4 than 5, I don't think he can back down or post up bigs like Deandre, Marc Gasol, Dwight, etc. like he did in college.

Everyone has been questioning Okafor, but I still think there is more questions than answers with Towns. He had the most stacked and best team in college and couldn't win it all. Anthony Davis for instance had a stacked team and they won it all and was the unquestioned best player in college. He only played 20 mpg, he was really good on defense, but he had WCS with him who had been in Kentucky for years. He doesn't run the floor as smooth & fluid like Drummond, Deandre Jordan, Ibaka, etc. imo. When he played, did he ever have that moment in college like Anthony Davis or Andrew Wiggins that had you like, :ohhh: we are watching the a future superstar/number one pick"? JO was who most had as the number one pick in the draft for most of the season until the end of the year and leading up to the draft now. If you reversed the teams they were on with JO on Kentucky and KAT on Duke, the team with JO still wins imo.
He was great against ND, Wisconsin, LSU and Florida. Those are the 4 games that really established him as a number 1. Plus everyone knew he can hit jumpers but he dominated those games with mostly post moves because Cal wanted him inside. His D is crazy too, He is only slightly less important than WCS for that all time Kentucky D.
He may not have all his footwork fundemental, pick n roll angles and positioning down but just his size and athletic ability made hum a force as a rim protector

Poythress didn't play most of the year

Damn they could of got him with the 2nd rd pick 34 I beleive is he really worth a late first I know he's a knock down shooter.
