@labelplant Who should the Rockets target breh?
Wright is my favorite out the group followed by Jones and Grant. Jones worked out for us but he apparently "injured his back"Best PG available
Grant/Wright/Jones
Unless someone they have on their big board way ahead of those guys fall to them

In the draft? Hmmm considering where they're picking I like Looney but their big men rotation is pretty set. I'm a fan of Delon Wright's game but the Rockets really emphasize 3 pointers. Payne would be great but is unlikely to fall to them. So I'm gonna go with Jerian Grant@labelplant Who should the Rockets target breh?
It really burns my dude, I got over LMA because of DRose@Brozay i cant imagine that sick feelin in your stomach knowing you guys drafted Aldridge and NUrkic

but there is no forseeable silver lining to the Nurkic fukkup
Seems like Mitch & Buss want to go big, but Ryan West & Jesse Buss want to go small and go more modern with the way how small the NBA is now. Only one more week."We had a Lakers dinner and they were about 8 or 9 of us and the table was "evenly divided" between Okafor or Russell. Some people like the idea of taking a guard and not a big man, but the thing that became obvious to me is that there is no consensus on what the Lakers should do."
- Russell is the best "pure" basketball player in the draft.
- Okafor is at the top of (Jay Bilas') board. Okafor's dominant trait of his low post scoring edges Towns. Not every center has to be great defensively, Dwight Howard is not a good pick and roll defender.
- Towns is a more versatile prospect, makes shots, free throws, and is a shot blocker, but no dominant trait.
- Porzingis is not a rebounder, he's not physical in the post, there's a degree of risk.
- Russell is not a good defender either but his defense won't be an issue. He's not a superior athlete but it's better than most give him credit for. He's in the mold of a Steph Curry type of player but not quite as good.
- Okafor's footwork is phenomenal, he can become a better defender in the NBA. Not a rim protector, but a better defender.
I've noticed that about him too. But I still want dude #1 overall. I learned my lesson, I was about Brandon Roy when we had the chance to draft him for that same reason and look at how that turned outHere was Jay Bilas' thoughts on the draft from today: Towns is a more versatile prospect, makes shots, free throws, and is a shot blocker, but no dominant trait.

He's gonna see the gym, see the city, get yelled at by KG and then hopefully tell him he's going #1Towns will be in Minny tomorrow?
Towns was limited by Calipari, he will be a better pro than he was a college player. And the whole "Dominant trait" stuff is silly, Kentucky beat Notre Dame by just throwing him the ball in the post.
You don't need to be a master of anything, just be really good at several, which he is.
