Ginobli; Nash, Dragic, and Chandler Parsons all rang the bell.
Don't forget Hayward

Rudy Fernandez had his athleticism but was too frail and didn't have a handle.
I'm not saying he'll be a superstar, but best case he'll be an AS player and worst case he's a great role player.
Also Kobe damn near grew up in Europe.
Not a lot of interesting names playing in the 5 on 5 at the combine. These are all guys outside of the top 20
Not saying he wont pan out..he has a better skill set than most coming into the league, but its not a slam dunk that many are making it out to be imo
i actually made the argument he's the GOAT euro but that was a semi-troll argument that was met with some resistance
2/3s

None of these guys were viewed as being prospects as good as Hezonja.
Even from a personality standpoint he's different than them, he's viewed as a selfish & cocky player that doesn't trust his teammates
i do like his arrogance but its yet to be seen how an arrogant rookie white euro wing will be viewed by other players in the league. again, he has a skill-set and resume that is quite solid but he's going to need a perfect landing spot to work quickly or a resolute determination to stick it out rather than go back to europe if it doesnt and neither are guarantees. hell, its not even a guarantee his confidence/arrogance will carry over immediately either.
I agree, Philly and LA would be the best places for him to land.
Sacramento and possibly Miami would be death sentences.
A few of those guys were lotto/first rounders and were touted as having elite athleticism (didnt they keep showing vesely jumping over a car)
karasev and korolev were also recent "Athletic" guys who were flat-out garbage

You don't really seem to know shyt about european players, their history in the league, or their scouting reports at the time.
scouting reports at the time though (even though he wasnt a wing)Lampe was selected by the NBA club the New York Knicks in the second round (30th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft as an early entry candidate, despite having been projected as a top five lottery pick.
None of those guys were top 10 projected, Hezonja could go in the top 5, he'll be the first Euro wing since Gallo taken top 10. So, he's viewed as a better prospect, especially since this isn't really a weak draft.
