UGA has had too many great players come through there.UGA is an elite program but might not be an elite team..But i don't even feel right saying that because me nor any of you motherfukkers would want to play they ass in the middle of ya schedule during a season cuz you know with all they beastly talent anything can happen.And i don't know many non "elite"teams you can say that about.

Georgia's only problem is they don't show up in big games. I don't care about playing them if they were on schedule because I know they wouldn't show up

Bowl games are cool, but they don't win in big games (to get them over the top) and I wouldn't classify your normal bowl game as a big game. I agree they have an elite program in terms of players, but they're never able to put it together. That's just my opinion.

The fact that they do get a ton of talent only cements them as a non elite but tier under team/program.
All that talent and they don't have 1 ship appearance to show for it. If they were getting 3 star recruits and winning the amount of games they do it'd be one thing but they're stacked with great recruits year after year and can't even win the SEC. Even Auburn won the SEC and they're all boom or bust.
When UGA PLAYS for a ship then we can talk about them really being elite but until then they'll remain in that tear right under elite squads.

this is a good distinction.
It's still a big deal if you are recruited to play for UGA, or OU, Florida, USC etc.

WRONG. they actually show up for big games. they just choke way too frequently against mediocre teams that they should beat. they beat Auburn almost every year in the cross-divisional matchup. they beat LSU in an epic game 2 years ago. they almost beat the eventual national champion Alabama in the 2012 SEC championship game (remember it took a goaline stand in the final seconds). they split the home and home with Clemson the last 2 years.
Georgia comes to play against the big boys. Their problem is when they play the mediocre teams on their schedule that they should beat.

I bet you anything they beat Alabama October 3rd at home. Only to turn around and lose the following week to Tennessee on the road.
that would be classic Georgia. win a big game and have everyone on the bandwagon then lose a game to a team you should beat.
Georgia had 2 BCS wins in that era, and zero titles. If thats elite than label Boise St and Utah elite as well. 
How many sec ship games has Richt been to? 6? Hes won twice. That ain't elite
Uga Is a very good program. But not elite. They're in that next tier
