UGA isn't elite. However, given their in-state status, location, alumni support, recruiting, etc, they should be.
The fact that they do get a ton of talent only cements them as a non elite but tier under team/program.
All that talent and they don't have 1 ship appearance to show for it. If they were getting 3 star recruits and winning the amount of games they do it'd be one thing but they're stacked with great recruits year after year and can't even win the SEC. Even Auburn won the SEC and they're all boom or bust.
When UGA PLAYS for a ship then we can talk about them really being elite but until then they'll remain in that tear right under elite squads.
They're a pretty bytch with bad p*ssy. Always gonna look good but deep down don't have the right guts to be the best.
And it's amazing that they can even compete for recruits considering how they use to totally disregard anything south of Cordele, GA and let the likes of Auburn, Bama, Tennessee (when they were hot), FSU, UF, USC, Ohio St, Clemson, and USCe all come into ATL and other parts of the state and take some of the states best talent. GA produces mad talent but its not like a Cali, Texas or Florida where you can stand to lose certain guys but still be good because it's that loaded.
