Georgia had 2 BCS wins in that era, and zero titles. If thats elite than label Boise St and Utah elite as well.

elite status to me = being a recruiting power, being in the top 10 of the polls consistently, winning big games against big-time opponents, and putting lots of players into the NFL.

UGA does that. Boise and Utah don't. they simply dominate weak conferences. then sneak up on the big boys in bowl games they realy dont wanna be a part of.

theres a differnece between elite performing teams, and elite jobs.

well that is more of what i'm talking about since i said elite PROGRAMS not elite teams. Georgia is an elite program given the players and resources they have. they may not have stamped that national championship ticket. but i doubt anyone would be surprised if they got rid of Marc Richt and the new coach won the natty in year 1 or 2 ala Urban Meyer in 2006.

UGA can win national titles. hence they are an elite PROGRAM. even if Marc Richt's futility has kept them from being an elite team.

It ain't hit the SEC yet, unless you count the Duke Williams situation. It's coming though Pac-12, Big 10, Big 12, and ACC all had fukkery the past week

The school/program is the epitome of entitlement and they continue to get humbled every season since 2010.

just want football to be played, all that extra stuff can go to the bushes, but its part of college football. Just gotta deal with it. Wonder why Duke was being kept off the team, good he back, Auburn gonna need him.
