As the regular season approaches, more appeals or more suspensions will become finalized. For the players who lose their appeals, their suspensions will then be announced.

The latest player to be officially suspended is Raiders receiver Andre Holmes, according to Jerry McDonald of Bay Area News Group. Holmes violated the substance-abuse policy.

The Raiders claimed Holmes on waivers in May, after he was released by the Cowboys. Undrafted in 2011, Holmes was active for seven games last year, catching two passes for 12 yards.

A suspension arises under the substance-abuse policy only after multiple violations. Typically, at least three violations must occur before a player is suspended four games. Violations include positive tests, missed tests, dilute samples, or other behavior deemed to be a violation of the policy.

I thought it was Moore or Ford.

How's Pryor looking brehs?

– Quarterback Terrelle Pryor had a pass intercepted by cornerback Michael Jenkins early in practice. He then rebounded with several well-placed passes, including a deep throw to wide receiver Rod Streater, who made an impressive leaping grab near the goal line despite tight coverage by cornerback Tracy Porter.

– Presumptive starting quarterback Matt Flynn looked sharp Friday, particularly during the 7-on-7 portion of drills.
Time and again, Flynn delivered the ball right on target, be it on short throws, medium routes, crossing routes, whatever. He completed all but one pass during three sessions.

– Rookie quarterback Tyler Wilson’s first training camp practice is one he would rather forget. At one point, he was intercepted three times in a four-pass span.
In Wilson’s defense, safety Cory Nelms made a spectacular play on a well-thrown pass for receiver Conner Vernon down the left sideline. Nelms arrived at the last second, leaped and snared the ball just before Vernon could get his hands on the ball.
Cornerback Joselio Hanson and safety Reggie Smith also registered interceptions.

Pryor has been very accurate on Deep bombs today - hit a couple go routes. He of all these QBs can push the ball vertically #Raiders
