Sources have confirmed that Jerry Montgomery accepted the vacant defensive line coaching post at Oklahoma on Friday


He's an up and coming coach. I believe he was gonna get the nod over Coach Mallory to be Mattison's successor at D-Coordinator when he retires. Not only that .. kids LOVE him. Recruits LOVE him. This is gonna hurt.. unless our new DLine coach is out of this world.

I'm disgusted.

Contract details weren’t available at press time, but sources indicate that Michigan offered a competitive compensation package to Montgomery, but ultimately he felt the opportunity at Oklahoma was clearly one he couldn’t pass up.

I expect our defense to be significantly better and more athletic. with T Gordon running the show back there.

The Offense will also be improved, mainly because the pass game will be better, and we should get Toussaint back to 1,000 yard season. hopefully Green can get bout 500 in his warmup for 2014
