It's so easy to sit at a computer and berate women you never met or know nothing of their dating history. Yes, they probably have made mistakes and chosen bad partners...but if life was as easy as choosing the 'right person' the topics of relationships would not be discussed as much as it is.

What it seems to me is that AA women complaint of black men is they don't have a large enough pool of individuals that would be their equal within their social/professional circle. In the context of the US is that True or False that black women would have to date 'down' in terms of black professional women more so than other races of women?

This is the problem in a nutshell....Stop with this "dating down" mentality.....This is the problem....people are adopting attitudes of superiority over another in our race, which should never be....You exclude more quality Black men each time you do this....This will continue to be the problem.......

They already are, most mixed women are with black men. At least 10x more than mixed males with black women.

Most mixed women of this generation have black fathers.

Relationships are not easy, anymore than life is. It is true, that people can complicate things, but in the grand scheme of things it is not smooth sailing, so I disagree with your statement.

Lets go to even before the reatonship comes to be.

Many people go out and choose the wrong person to have relationships with which fukkes them up from the get go. Its just that many refuse to self evaluate their choices in another. Dudes ignoring a good 6 for a crappy 10 and chicks ignoring a good average guy for one who is popular or good looking or rich with a messed up personality.

Even now you use terms like dating down as if the men with the most money are actually more likely treat their women right more than normal dudes lol.

But hey keep on thinking its somebody elses fault. I already realized this early so I know better.

I used 'dating down' in quotations marks to save using to save time. The tension that I see is the fact that BW are expected BM to be traditional wives and to cater without BM being traditional husbands. Do you honestly a woman will refuse to cook/clean/support her husband if her husband is the main provider?

I don't disagree that the set up is unproductive. I can understand BM who disagree with the method in which it is done. What I don't understand is instead of guys on the coli stating that, they tend to try to mud sling and use that against BW instead of expressing themselves rationally.

Its more than the method.....its the mind state as I said before.....When Black women stop setting standards that make themselves out to be superior than a potential mate based soly around finance and/or education, then it will be no need for panel discussions about being single.

Nowhere did imply or saying that money is the only determinant factor of 'dating down', but money does play a role in the search for a partner. The issue I have with coli men is telling BW that money should not factor in their selection process but have a laundry list of what a 'good woman' should be like. If I am working just as hard as you are outside of the homes I expect you to assist me in the home.

Black women should already be willing to cook,clean and support her man no matter what, as long as said "man" is treating her right and caring for the family as should be. But the problem comes before any of this can take place, because many refuse to seek out other variety of types of Black men, due too many ingrained standards that have been put in place, so a lot of Black women and Black men remain single, and feel the "way out" is to "date out", when you never really "dated in"

I totally agree but I get a sense that BW are pushed towards men that are in the process of bettering themselves (even past their 30s) than men who have achieve some level of fiscal responsibility. I have never claimed that BW should chase only rich men and leave other men in the dust. I have constantly that BW should go after men who are fiscally responsible and will be able/want to/make it a priority to provide for their families.

It's easy to be that when your men are traditional providers. AA women don't seem to be sharing that reality.
