I'm 28 and my day job pays me 74k.

I couldn't IMAGINE, in a MILLION YEARS, turning down a nice, smart, supportive, attractive woman, who makes 40k a year, just because she makes 40k a year.

Salary discrepancies should only be if one person makes more than double, because that denotes a lifestyle difference.

A man making 40k to a woman making 120k? The man got lucky.

A man making 120k to a woman's 40k? Brehette lucked up.

But if a brehette's clowning a guy making $18/hr and she makes $24/hr? Thats that bullshyt. I see that ALL the time. Ain't neither one of y'all doing it big enough to be disqualifying any body, so cut it out. :camby:

I got a story like that. This chick was dating this dude and he was making 8/hr and she was making 9.50/hr then she got promoted and made 11/hr and dumped the guy she was with because he made 8.50/hr cause she felt "deserved better." She the. got with a guy making $26/hr and she went broke/in debt trying to one up him because he made more than she did, and when she got promoted to making $20/hr, she broke up with him because she felt like she could do better(even though she made less money). Shorty pulled those moves for years.

Fast forward to today and shes been tossed around by the whole neighborhood/neighbor city, no real dude that knows her will cuff her up cause they know how she gets down, and the dude she's with now had been locked in the friend zone for years, doesn't work, has 6 figure debt, no car, and even uses her car and cheats on her while she at work. :snoop:

Meanwhile, all her old dudes who weren't good enough: The $8/hr man is in an MBA program, working in Finance and married to a newly christened lawyer(who I KNOW is a good woman), and the $22/hr guy is engaged to a pharmacist(who's been consigned by EVERYBODY and treats him great), so on and so forth, but let her tell it they're no good and she was confused and needed to find herself etc etc.

You need to keep that shyt off television and in the house, noone wants that aired out. :smh:

These women swear "We'll be submissive,we'll cook and clean, once we meet a man who makes more than us:usure:"....Women who are happy to do those things don't even think like that, they just do em:banderas:....These women obviously aint doing these things now then wonder why they not desirable to men of all classes who like they woman to do those things, oops that pool just shrank some more:sas1:...white men and black men alike.

I will say some succesful women shouldn't marry men who are less successful financially, because the man will resent them....Women like the one on this panel and in this thread who are soooooo focused on money probably shouldn't actually...She will resent him and be so petty about money it will surely drive the man away and force him to resent her even if he didn't:heh:

They refusal to believe plenty of women do it and are happy though is whats funny to me....There is no agenda telling successful black women that may be an option for happiness.....Just this message of how ALL black women need to start dating white men.

So you do think their (the men in this thread) example of a woman making 80K and a guy making 30K or less is unreasonable. Yeah I do too.

Black men in graduate programs have NO trouble finding women. NONE what so ever so y'all are just making things up. School is the easiest place to find a like minded partner.

What type of woman makes 80k and what type of man makes 30k? Those two TYPES of people likely wot be a good fit anyway. An 80k position is someone of tenure or high skill. A 30k position is a help desk associate or forklift driver, ups box thrower. Those two types don't operate on be same mental wavelength(usually)

*edit*

This is in the salon now? I've posted in the salon! :damn:

In case you can't read or comprehend...my statement clearly said I DON'T KNOW...which is talking specifically about MY experiences. I then followed that my the word MOST which doesn't not mean ALL.

My statements were also about what most people DO...NOT what most people are ABLE to do...thank you very much.

No need to catch an attitude, but you have to expand your horizons, knowing only men who are over 50 doing these things is false which is a fact, therefore it doesn't matter if it's your experience or not, there is plenty of young brothers who are handy men, one of the Non-Profits I'm in has plenty of brothers who are electricians, plumbers, and mainly mechanics. Just saying that there is plenty of men who are under 50 who can do these things, which is a fact, not some "based on my experience" talk, it's like saying if one was to say there is no good black women, then that would also be false because the problem is with the man needing to fix himself, not that there is no good black women, because there is plenty of great Black women, the Non-profits and grassroots organizations i'm in has plenty of them and the majority of the members are black women

Me know only men with those skills is not false. It's my reality so it's a fact of my life. You have a different experience but that doesn't make my experience false.

If you were to say that YOU don't know any women your age that can cook...I can't tell you that's a lie because maybe you don't. That wouldn't be a lie that would be your experience.

You haven't disproven it.

The fact that so many professional women and female graduate students bombard the media with articles, tv specials, talk shows, etc (and interviews like in the OP) about how they can't find a good man or men on their level shows that they overlook and reject the black men who are their graduate programs and professional settings.

That's not what that says. In the three graduate school's I've gone to, there have always been more women than men. The few men who are there have their pick and get scooped up really quick leaving quite a few women left over to either be single, date down, date young, or date out.

This thread is basically proving why The Salon won't work and is proving me right about the intentions of the female trolls here but
kermit-bike.gif

We bared witness:mjcry:....Women always gon woman and ignore everything you just said to continue to try to make they point, all while protecting womanhood and admitting no wrong on the part of they fellow women....Im sure its easy to get defensive when its so many men and your one of the few women, but realness would go a long way.

Ive seen plenty of diplomatic men in this thread,me included....but is there any doubt why a man might get frustrated and just call you a bytch or a c*nt,when actual discussion goes wasted on you:patrice:?

Just saying at the end of the day there is people that can do these things, if I can't find a woman that can't cook that'll be my fault and I would have to expand my horizons, not based on experience, it all starts with the person in the mirror, if I can't find a woman that can't cook, I can do something like expand my horizons and find someone that can. At the end of the day there is plenty of us that can do these handy things, if one is a mechanic, cutting grass, and even plumbing is a cakewalk. So you not knowing any man under 50 that is handy is really on you, because I can easily name a plethora of us men that can.

The thing is...I don't really give a damn if a man my age can do those things especially when he can pay someone to do those manual things (I was simply stating a fact of MY reality that most of the people I encounter (men or women) are not doing handy man things.

I don't give a damn if my man isn't fixing shytty pipes (which is something his management company should be doing anyway). That is not a knock against me so NO...I don't need to expand my horizons. I'm just fine with men I encounter who go to get their oil changed some where else or hires a plumber...
