a good man to these women is just a prestigious career and $$$

instead of focusing on a loyal faithful dude who loves and adores her

A man's character matters very little to these chicks. It's all about money.

Which is why a dude like me can be a complete ass and still have them eating out my hand.

Where do they learn that shyt? From the church. And that's not even realistic anyway since you'd have us believe with our "underdeveloped minds" and out of wedlock babies we're single moms anyway being supported by our white daddies. :comeon:

nikkas do the same shyt with their own bullshyt rhetoric. :heh:

Maybe Black women should stop going to church so much.

Between the pastor/pimp preying on them, learning outdated lessons, not seeing themselves in leadership positions, etc., Black women appear to be losing when it comes to the Black church.

The thing is...I don't really give a damn if a man my age can do those things especially when he can pay someone to do those manual things (I was simply stating a fact of MY reality that most of the people I encounter (men or women) are not doing handy man things.

I don't give a damn if my man isn't fixing shytty pipes (which is something his management company should be doing anyway). That is not a knock against me so NO...I don't need to expand my horizons. I'm just fine with men I encounter who go to get their oil changed some where else or hires a plumber...

:dwillhuh: You got on the poster above and was debating him about not knowing people under 50 who don't do these things, and now you're talking about your man?:dwillhuh: I was just saying that there is plenty of these people that do exist, just because you don't know any doesn't mean that they don't exist. If I don't know anyone that doesn't do heart surgery doesn't mean I can say that these people don't exist or act like they're some kind of rare pokemon like you did when alluding to young people being handy.

I talked about my man or the people I encounter because you told me I need to expand my horizons.

And I've already addressed the rest of your post. I never said those people DON'T exist at all. I NEVER said ALL people my age and I specifically talked about MY experiences. These are MY experiences and YOU have YOURS. Get over it.

You are arguing against things I never said which is a waste of both of our times.

First off my "broke daddy" never had a credit card, my broke daddy has over 200k in savings in the bank account, my broke daddy retired early and lives in jamaica 6 months of the year, my broke daddy has never been in debt

The whole purpose of marriage is a union of love and building together for the future. My sister stays at home while my brother in law works, do you think he thinks damn im making 125k a year, the only one contributing to savings, the future?

only undeveloped minds think that way.

Keep it up black women as you get married to yourself

Didn't mean to get you all riled up :heh: just stating facts, but since you reply based off of emotion I'll let you be, can't argue with people who wear their emotions on their sleeve, best of luck to you though in everything :salute:

That's not what that says. In the three graduate school's I've gone to, there have always been more women than men. The few men who are there have their pick and get scooped up really quick leaving quite a few women left over to either be single, date down, date young, or date out.

:mjpls:

I'm a black man who's been to multiple graduate schools. There have been more women than men. Yet the women would compete with each other for a select few from the already limited group of men available, leaving quite a few men to either be single, date down, or date out. Hence, even with being outnumbered by women, most of those guys in those programs weren't eating.

See how easy that was?

"successful black women" (and that's if we define success monetarily) are a statistical anomaly.

These panels are very misleading because they don't represent the average.

Where are the black women on there to explain why they have 3 children by 3 different men?

Where are the black women on there who are 40 lbs over weight who wonder why they can't find a man?

Unfortunately, that is far more representative of what the "average" black woman is like rather than the panels up there with lawyers, judges, hedge fund managers and PhD recipients.

Then on top of that, this misrepresentation up there has the cojones to speak stereotypically of how the "average" black male is below them.

And then you have people actually entertaining these discussions :mindblown:

Yep. The assumption in all these debates is that all these single Black women are elite Black women.

Very few elite Black women are ringless.

It's the overweight, debt-ridden, those with a tribe of kids, etc that are single and more representative of the average single Black woman.

Yes it is easy. You have an experience and so do I and you confirmed what I said to begin with...there is something wrong with you (look within and see why you can't eat when you're drowning in a sea of women who want an educate black man).

Or maybe there's something wrong with those women who insist on competing with each other for the most desired men and overlooking several eligible men in the process.

Is it ever women's fault?
