Jim is such a pathetic fukking simp.
As soon as they mentioned that the Ugandan kid was kept safe in the orphanage, I knew it was curtains for him. Not really Sorkin's fault; I watch too much TV and that kinda thing was telegraphed from the beginning. shyt was still bad though.
While the Uganda subplot and Jim subplot were both astoundingly terrible, I'm kinda amazed that Sorkin's still doing a really good job handling Occupy Wall Street.
Next week ep: "Trayvon Martin was shot..." FUCK.
The Jim stuff is dumb, but almost all the relationship shyt in this show is so it's whatever to me at this point...
I agree the Uganda shyt was predictable, but I still think it was handled pretty well and there was enough of a twist with how it went down that it worked for me.
The only thing I didn't dig was how the next step in the Genoa story developed Although I really enjoyed the escalating meetings with Shelly that followed it, it felt like they were going back to the well on having things "fall in their lap". It's cute that they pointed it out before it happened, but they already played that card in season 1 with Jim's friend at BP or whatever.
I also don't know how I feel about the lawyer character yet
