Sloan :ohlawd:

Everything's dope apart from the love triangle, which is dragging on. That scene with Will and the cop :dead:

I always thought Don was a huge douchebag in the first season, but he's one of my favorite characters so far this season.

I hate cosignin but I agree with the rest of the people in here talking about the shytty ass subplots. To be honest while I would like to see a show be completely about the behind the scenes aspect of news I'm not sure if that by itself would be compelling enough to fill a hourly seasonal slot for a television show. I think the side garbage is necessary but it can be done so much better that it's a damn shame.

I wonder why I keep watching a show that gets worse and worse every week, but then I hear Jim assert that Romney could've won the election if he had backed the gay combat soldier during that GOP debate. I literally paused the show on my laptop and facepalmed. Like, what preposterous liberal fantasy world does Aaron Sorkin live in to dream like such a thing is true?

I think you took that way too serious :heh: It was basically an off-handed remark in a fairly heated moment. :yeshrug:

Aside from the plot contrivances (timing of the translation, Sloan randomly bringing up Nina to Mack so she'd have a reason to call) and the poor execution/editing of Jim's speech on the bus (should have cut straight to them off the bus right after he says "who's with me?!"), I thought this episode was great.

He was in the midst of asking one of the Romney people a question. I think Jim (and Sorkin) was serious.

BTW, did they not know about Google Translate 18 months ago?
