says the nikka that called me delusional lol

stop arguing about sites allhiphop had the number one site based on news feed. sohh forums were alway more popping more fukkery more celebrities and more exclusives.

my bad, i didnt mean it as personal - i meant (its delusional for anyone to think a lesser/much smaller site can be years ahead of a number 1 site in any genre)

Except them scales been tipped back to Nas once you add Life is Good vs MCHG's Metaritic ratings:blessed:

btw the Metacritic for SD goes back to what I've been saying for ages about how its actually a good album. Never seen such a divide between people over such an album

It was more like
Blueprint> Stillmatic (Though many people liked both, you remember how hot both were off those albums. BP is the more sonically achieved album but Stillmatic is the like the modern day comeback rap album)
God Son>>> Blueprint 2
Black Album>> Streets Disciple
Hip Hop is Dead>> Kingdom Come
American Gangster>>Untitled
Life is Good>>Magna Carta

It goes back and forth

But dont forget like especially in 01-03 people were riding hard with Nas and people still debate who they like between the two. Even if Jay sells more, critically and amongst fans you know Jay vs Nas still gets debated to this day so I dont why one would think its a wash.

You can't go wrong either way but its not a no contest

i'm comparing apples to apples
similarities -breh, black album/god son as BP2/SD

breh, anything done by these 2 after the late 00's is useless

You didn't include The Lost Tapes, Nas highest reviewed album in that time period.

A realstic comparison is what they did each year and the albums they released (Although yet in still SD has better reviews that BP2)

Why not? Watch The Throne and Life is Good are two of the best Hip Hop albums this decade. And the other dude is right, I was peeping the ranking of best reviewed rappers in the 00s and bizarrely Nas is above Jay. Dropping Kingdom Come, BP 2 and 3 will do that. Whereas Nas' duds in the 00s weren't as poorly reviewed. It lends credence to the idea that while Jay got bigger, credibility wise Nas still hung around which is why he hasn't really slipped from top 5 conversations
