3) are nigerians flippant about their children's educations but want them to excel on the court/football/soccer fields?

let's just start with these three things. again, we're talking about wealth building, success and cultural attitudes.

Nigerians are often the edge case because larger numbers of them come to America for school or work visa's while this isn't the case for the other groups who may luck up and get a visitor visa and never go back to their countries, or they came on refugee status.

Nigerians do make up the mass% of African immigrants so maybe thats where the whole "African Immigrants were elite in their homelands" talk comes from, but every non Nigerian Black Immigrant I ever knew came from the trenches. Even in engineering, I encountered a lot of West Africans. I was the only AA-DOS in my science based courses.

Most the Africans you see that came into the US in the late 80s and 90s are refugees who are usually more grounded since they literally just escaped some kinda conflict, and they are trying to get it by any means.

At most you may see immigrants who are ignorant to the history of AAs when it comes to the post slavery systematic stuff that happens (there are even AAs who try to act like post slavery everything became "fair and even" and any AA who did not succeed didnt because they were "lazy"), but the walking around with their noses tooted in the air is only something I've seen Nigerians do.

Yeah, only people who think Asians are "smart" are people who don't actually work in these technical fields lol. I'm not hype of no cacs. Most Kenyans got to the U.K. and U.S.A. I'm in the minority here but it does not mean I'm unaware of how Africans move in the states. I see how Nigerians move and I respect it. No one needs a cac article to tell us what we already know. They some hustlers. I dunno bout Nigeria but a lot of Kenyans have gone back with their education and ideas... invested in themselves and the country.

When ever I see AAs talking about these "elite" arrogant Africans they are 98% of the times talking about Nigerians. Amongst actual Africans Nigerians are known as scammers lol.
