ya but gathering gold from easy sources, like panning rivers or simple extraction from ore is actually easy and has been known everywhere in the world for a long time and used more than in africa. There are new more complicated chemical and machine processes that europeans developed the technology for. They will always have to be their to assist africans in extracting resources. that is why i said the key to development is not resources, the key to development is individual freedom and economic freedom and also by advancing education and capitalism, because you have to address the lack of education of the general population, the lack of educated leaders and the lack of global capital

In fact a lot of the "gold" mined without chemical process is not actually pure gold it's electrum, a chemical process has to be done to extract the silver from the gold, then other impurities are added to make the gold strong enough to be used practically. What you are doing is not giving the white man enough credit.
