I been said this.
It was always said and only ones who would not was always a producer who never mixed your vocals right so you could hear the emcee and the beat.

CL was trash on the break when it came to hearing an actual dope rhyme.
Best thing about him was his vocal tonality and ability to pocket flows.
which would be a godsend now but I can't take lackluster rhymes on the important breaks.
Although now it is common for all rappers to generally be trash on the breaks.
