The MCU might have a problem they don't know about yet.

I think the thread and people in here are explaining that THIS IS THE FALLOFF... it's already happening. Nobody care about any of these characters and movies but Spidey and maybe Strange
What about Shang Chi? Wanda?
Eternals was an unprecedented misstep for the MCU but otherwise I don't see it. All the movies they put out last year rank in the top 6 and they hold the top 2 spots of box office numbers and many didn't even get released in China. They won't be feeling any pressure until that changes.

We talking quality here. We all know these new ones are not getting the burn of the first ones. Not because it's smaller characters either. Who knew anything about the guardians but the nerdiest of nerds... But Starlord damn near a household name now

The shows were cool.. Came and went.. The movies outside of what I named, came and went... And for the most part, were not greatly reviewed by critics or fans. Y'all see anyone clamoring for another Shang Chi like they were Antman? Wanda was cool but were any of those shows even on the Mandalorian level of hype and critical acclaim? Even close?

I don't see it as a cliff... But Marvel throw out about 2-3 more bad movies and people are going to move on.. Venom 2 was trash too and people are also blurring the lines of what's MCU and not too... That's also not good if other studios are putting out terrible movies with your IP.

If they were on 10 before... They on about 7.5 right now

Only in the Comic Book Industry, and Rap Industry, do people outright DISRESPECT the pioneers of their art forms. Thats like a rap fan shytting on Rakim; any comic book fan dissing Superman obviously doesn't know, nor respect, the history of American comic books. That's outright blasphemous.
Nothing i said about superman was disrespectful. Just think he and comicbooks in general were at best B list in terms of overall fame and popularity before a certain point in time.

Shang Chi was better reviewed than most Marvel movies and WandaVision was the most popular TV show on the planet at one point. If you didn't find them that intruiging that's fi e but don't make shyt up about how they were received.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

I hope Kang crushes the buildings and causes a whole bunch of havoc.. That sense of dread at the end of Loki had me hyped as hell*

*(not for the Loki show, but for Kang fukking with the movies)

I mean they're obviously in a transition point as they should be. I see Strange stepping up a lot, and I'm starting to like his character more and more. His next movie may be a defining point for the new era of MCU.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man has already elevated himself to being my favorite hero maybe ever. He's now not only matured into a man and true hero in front of our eyes, but he carries a lot of pain and loss with him to - much of which he himself is responsible for which makes it sting even more. He will continue to be one of the defining figures as we now get to see him start from scratch needing to build all of his own tech, and someday maybe surpass Stark himself.

We're sort of in Phase 1 all over again, although an accelerated more developed and more intertwined version of it. We have some established guys already, and need to keep introducing more into the mix. By the end of this phase we're getting Fantastic Four. Between that, Spider-Man, Strange, Guardians, Thor, etc. they've got a strong base. Phase 5 I assume will introduce mutants which will be huge, and from there you've got a crew again.

I said they came and went... Then said FOR THE MOST PART... So we can both be right.

And please don't show me pirating numbers as ratings numbers sir. I get your point but you talking about 2 pieces of media and we 9 deep in phase 4 media.

WandaVision was the number one show in the world at one point and it was the #1 streaming show after like ep 4. It didn't just come and go. And yeah there aren't like a lot of streaming ratings out there. The pirating shows interest.
Look at the current scoreboard man. Spider-Man is killing the game during a fukkin' pandemic. And they got all sequels coming in 2022. I can see you personally not liking the new stuff but please the Train is chugging along just fine.

You just spouting nonsense. Shang Chi was one of the highest reviewed MCU movies to this date and if we counting the tv shows Wanda and Loki are also rated very high in terms of the entire MCU. All 3 of them rated higher then Antman so your entire point makes no sense.

Wanda Agatha and Loki are all household names. Eternals the only lackluster one so far out of phase 4. (And to me Eternals itself isn't a bad movie. It's just trying to do way to much with characters no one cares about yet. I actually predict more people will warm up to the movie once it hits Disney plus)
