Funny this thread pops up while I'm going through my annual run through of the trilogy. Its my favorite series of all time, well top 5 but I love ME.

ME3 online was poping when it dropped, caught ppl off guard.
Wait, you play this each year - all 3? Do you just start a new career? Do you use different answers and team set ups to keep it fresh?

I finished ME1 and ME2 and started with ME3 (all on Xbox 360). Then I copped the PS4 and Xbox One and I moved, unpacked the PS4 and Xbox One (Xbox One was still brand new when I moved so it was fresh out the box) and did not connect my Xbox 360 (even though I have up to 100 games by now).
Should I reconnect my Xbox 360 just for playing ME3? I heard the ending was horrific (please don't spoil).

yeah i play fresh each time, I mix up my talent and weapon specialty and keep it the same all three games. of course i rotate being good and evil, who dies, who i romance ect..

As far as ME3 goes I enjoyed the ending but im in the minority, a lot of cry babies out there were unsatisfied but i was cool with the outcome. I say hook up the 360 and roll through ME3 its worth the time investment imo, and the dlc is worth it but i believe they are 15$ a pop not including the dlc character

Three is my favorite gameplay wise in the whole series

ME2 had the best overall gameplay in my opinion. But the story and action in ME3 was unrivaled. That mission on Palaven with the Turians :wow:

Samara's loyalty mission dealing with them Banshees :merchant:

Getting back to Earth with your squad for that final fight :whoo:

First time i played me2. I fukked up that mission so bad :pachaha:
I didnt bother upgrading the ship's armor or guns, ended up losing half my crew getting to the collector base
I only made connections with some of my crew memebers so a bunch of them got gunned up and clapped quick :bryan:
When we saved the crew members and they asked for help getting back to the ship. I said they were on their own:manny:
I think i made it back with shepard and like 2 other crew memebers. All those coffins were tough to look at :mjcry:

Goddamn breh :pachaha:.

I mastered the mako, me1 still has the best story. And I had the most fun with it

Never played with that fakkit kaidan though
I still laugh whenever I get presented with the choice of leaving Kaidan or Ashley :mjlol: "you just wait right here Kaidan. We'll be right back :mjlol:"

And its actually some bs. On one playthrough I finally decided to throw Ashley in the bushes for being a space republican. Kaidan's backstory and motivations are actually really, really damned good - his personality and punchable face just make him one of the weakest male characters on the ship when it comes to how he relates to Shepard.

In ME3 for example, when he's in the hospital recovering, he says some :ohhh: more than a couple of times. In the end, he's a better character than a lot of the cast - he's just never a breh like Garrus, Mordin, Wrex, or even Jacob for that matter.

Ya'll suping me up, I'm going through a playthrough now.

Another ill story element;

Going through certain parts with mixes of characters. They did it so well. I just did the Surkesh mission with Garrus + Liara. And the fact that these are the OGz; it was so great to see them reminiscing. And I ran into Karrigh ([sp] Major from Virmire).

The game did so much right.

Another thing I never understood with ME fans; the Ashley hate.

I liked how rounded the entire cast was.

Humanity was only like 30 yrs into the whole galactic thing. C'mon, breh; everybody wasn't gonna be a hunnit for the whole alien thing.

Like that Asari on Illuim; we still got our own problems within Earth.

She says a couple WIIIILLLDDD things about aliens, but, I though he was the most "human" character.

I never hear human talk about their family like Ashley did. Every one was either not human or loners. Ashley also had the military thing and that added to the relating.

She was a great character for either Male (:datazz:) or Fem Shepard.

Both Kaiden and Ashley were wack in ME2, though.

But I agree; Kaiden was a little weird, but, I understood that.
