The Mass Effect series has the best story/lore in any game I've ever played

Yeah her bad qualities outweighed her good. Because the whole poetry and religious thing should obviously be for me lol but that xenophobic attitude she had and the other bad stuff just made me say meh.

Her xenophobia got low key justified after Shep dies, unfortunately. The council straight up threw his/her legacy and his crew to the bushes, then were like "Reapers? What Reapers?"

A lot of people also hold it against her that she didn't join Shep in ME2 and felt some type of way about him/her being with Cerberus. Thing is though, she didn't learn about Shep being with Cerberus via Shep him/herself like Garrus and Tali did. She was fed reports anonymously from the Illusive Man. We all know how shady that dude is, prolly portrayed Shepard in a negative light in those reports.

Guilty. But again, I played 2 first lol...had I played 1 first and had a bigger connection to Ash, maybe it wouldn't have went that way. 2 came out while Chuck was still on and the woman was killing it on a weekly basis

Thxs breh. I remember waiting on that gamestop line and buying mass effect 3 at midnight. Got home with stupid amount of food and played the shyt outta that game in 2 days it was legendary and in those last fukking 5 minutes of that ending I was disgusted I spent $80 for that shyt!!!!

Another thing i hated about 3, besides that dumb ass ending. Was the last battle. 1 and more so 2, i felt had epic battles with story telling mixed in, and huge environments
The whole time while playing me3 i thought it would be like the 2nd game and i would have to decide what recources to use and where to fight the reapers in an epic space battle
instead the last battle in me3 ended up being fighting swarms of enemies untill u ran out of bullets
It was like the creaters was like fukk it.
To this day ive only played that game once. Everytime i tried to restart it. I just get mad thinking about that last battle and ending and just stop

And the thing is that's what the first half of ME 3 is about: Earth is a council home world and one of the first to get hit by the Reapers, but when Shep asks the Council for some help they literally go "worlds get destroyed everyday b, we gotta help ourselves first " and the whole game is solving their problems and hoping they show up at the end

Play it anyway. Even with the bad ending the series is still in the top ten for me and ME3 was still a blast to play.

Get it on PC, the true ending mod fixes everything, far better than BioWare's attempt.

but if its one sci-fi/fantasy series I like its Mass effect


I like Mass effect for the same reason I like One Piece in regards to comics

constantly expanding Universe. I find both are similar in regards to constantly making their worlds bigger
