Im not mad that I’ma fan game of the game. I’m mad BioWare gave up because of people complaining. The creators of No Man Sky didn’t give up and that game was no where near as complete as Andromeda.

NMS is one game.

And it didn't even flop initially. It reviewed like shyt but people still played it, husk of a game as it was.... Andromeda didn't make anyone happy outside of you and dozen other people give Greedfall a shot or something.

To be fair to him, I did enjoy my andromeda playthrough and defended it when I played it. It wasnt until I got that post nut clarity () when I realized that it wasn't that good. The story was fine.

When I got to that Ankoran homeworld or whatever they were called, I knew I couldn't defend shyt anymore I defended Andromeda so damn fiercely too. People really wanted that game to stick

I spent $100 on the game day one digitally.

Revisionist history. NMS was a huge flop at first. It wasn’t until months later that people actually enjoyed the game.

It obviously did if they cancelled DLC that was already in-progress. It didn't come anywhere close to their projections.

NMS was from a small dev that had to make it happen. Bioware has EA and its investors to appease. They cut losses.

You think Cyberpunk is going to get the same treatment in 3 months? The game will be fixed just like Andromeda was fixed.

People kept comparing the shyt to the Trilogy. Stop comparing the game to a damn series. It's it's own thing. At worst the game was a 7/10, that in itself doesn't mean they should have abandoned it. But y'all complaining ass fans... Gahdamn.

Best example to communicate this -> If I was the only fan of The Last Jedi, I wouldn't look for every opportunity to tell the rest of the Star Wars community how wrong they were for not fukking with it. shyt, we're not even hating on baseless generalizations.

Valid complaints? Man, half the people who don't like the game don't know shyt about the story. You have people who play the game for the first time without consulting fans of the original trilogy and they like the game.

nikkas still complain about it only being one species native to the cluster in the game. Talking about how they're in Andromeda, there's supposed to be multiple species. You're in one cluster of course it's not going to be that diverse. The Mass Effect Trilogy had what? Like 8 species that we met within an entire Galaxy. The complaints are so fukking stupid. Most of the complaints sum up to the game not being Mass Effect 1,2, or 3. Oh wait, not 3 cause they hate that too.

The bolded is exactly what I mean. If you tuned into Game of Thrones at the end of the series and thought it was all about braindead the Michael Bay shyt and loved it, while the rest of the dedicated fanbase that's grown over years can't fukk with it, then you can probably determine that what you like isn't what the rest of the core fanbase wanted at all.

STOP giving Ken, attention, he runs this troll job in EVERY Mass Effect thread. He's doing this on purpose.

He's decided that no one has a real reason not to like Andromeda. And I'm sure I can find posts from 2018 with him doing it.

He's seriously suggesting people who don't like Andromeda didn't play it. That should be enough to atleast get him banned from this thread. The people who MADE the damn game don't fukk with it as much as he does and they made money from it.

nikkas really like to compare an ENTIRE TRILOGY to one game. You see how nuts that shyt it?

The characters in ME1 where bland as fukk. Ashley was boring (and sus), Liara was boring and used as a sex trope, Shepard lacked personality, Wrex and Garrus were boring, don't even get me started on Kaiden lame ass.

Those characters didn't become shyt until the second and third game. But nikkas want to give that boring ass game a pass. And don't get me started on the gameplay.

I want to know more about the Jordan and why they created the Angara. I want to know more about the Kett's motives across the Andromeda Galaxy. Archon went rogue and I want to see their true motives. We are literally in one cluster. Think of it as the Local Cluster in the OT. There's so much to be explored on. Who's the Collector, Jain Garson's death, more species throughout the galaxy, introducing the galaxy to Relay technology if they don't have access to it already. Andromeda is a big place, and they've barely scratched the surface.

The Milky Way galaxy has been explored and done and has been fleshed out already. Maybe after they truly wrap up the Andromeda story, they can merge the two galaxies so that people can travel across them freely or something. It's been 600 years, Shepards dead and there are new challenges in Andromeda.
