Vanguard in 3 is literally unstoppable after you get even a few upgrades in.Started a paragon playthrough as a Vanguard with an assault rifle.....

I mean it really doesn't matter by the ending.
Plus if you go inside their past with Legion you feel where they're coming from.
If you do synthesis ending they won't ever be a threat.
If you do destroy they're gone either way
It's literally about that one moment where the entire galaxy is able to put aside their differences for that one goal. And although it really only lasts like a week at most, it's kind of a beautiful thing.

100% you get all of the dlc I never could get when the series was actually going.
It's the best experience.
Now mass effect 1 is kind of dusty. But I think mass effect 2 and 3 hold up surprisingly well for being a decade old.
