Nerdrotic is an alt-right racist grifter. Don't boost him.
While I agree it's also very clear that we're witnessing a deliberate corporate directive to agitate people like this and then equate all criticism of the films - even the non-sexist/racist/homophobic/etc ones - with bottom feeders like this guy.

This stuff isn't a coincidence or some natural reaction. It's planned corporate spin. They know these films are bad. They know these films are cash grabs. And at this point the most effective way they think the movies can garner attention is by heavily leaning into women-driven blockbusters, more diversity, and a lot of sloppy girl power lines that are added into scripts ("if you need a job done, hire a woman" or "I told you girls do it better" or some exec demanding a rewrite so a little boy is replaced with a little girl in a scene). Each time this happens, a very loud but very small group of uber fans on Twitter end up defending the films like their life depends on it. They don't even talk about the quality of the film, they focus on the diversity while slamming anyone who dislikes the movies. And sometimes the uber fans aren't even fans, they're just influencers who are paid to market the film to diverse audiences. We saw this with Amazon's LOTR show where they trotted out some black influencers to hype the show, then later learned they hadn't even watched the show.

The issue isn't "girls in movie = bad" to normal, rational people. That's certainly the issue for Nerdrotic but normal dudes aren't on his wave. People just want better movies, with less pandering and studio-driven edicts.

Meh, still seems like a pandering choice to introduce the FF with Sue as the lead. Disney can continue down this path, but women have shown time and time again that action/comic book flicks is really not their thing. They are casual fans so who is Disney making these movies for?
There must be some money laundering situation. It just doesn’t seem possible that something can be managed so incompetently over and over….and that people with that sort of money would be cool with it.

These audience stats from the past weekend should hopefully give whoever was making those kinds of decisions a wake up call.

How do you have a film directed by and starring women and aimed at them and the people watching are mostly older men and those under 25 females you thought would come out and see it basically said nah we good.

Its why every actor they've offered that Reed role too turned it down. How do you take a well known ensemble and only focus on one character?

I like Pedro Pascal but Marvel knows his not even their 8th choice if he finally takes that role. Its them being desperate

The MCU planning calendar the past 2 weeks has changed

They pushed Back the Sam Wilson Cap America film back to early 2025

They doing reshoots in Deadpool 3

The director of the next 2 Avenger films reportedly dropped out

No one wants to play Mr. Fantastic

Now they talking about dropping the whole Kang concept and dropping Jonathan Majors altogether

Talk about a whole shytshow. 12 months ago, the MCU brand was still on top. Now, its in shambles.

was only doing Kang.

he is now doing Wonder Man and Shang Chi 2 so not a major falling out ...

he is not proven enough to risk A5 so good decision.

No one wants to play Mr. Fantastic

really? his powers aren't great but his real lies in his personality/mind .. if they get that right he could be a front row character .
