The more stupid issue is that he picked Kamala instead of Stacy. IOW, no one feels that Kamala is a competent successor.
he should have picked Val Demmings if he needed a black woman. I wish he didn't commit to a black woman either. Raimondo, Whitmer, or Klobuchar would have him in positive polling for sure.

Again more conspiracy talk about the media :dead:

WTF are you talking about? You quoted by statement about the 2016 election, where I didn't mention the media at all, and then ignored everything I actually said including the co-sign from Elizabeth Warren just to falsely claim that I had laid it on the media.

Why can't you respond to any of the 2016 arguments?

fam, you deny it, tell me I'm lying...then do the same thing you said I lied about you doing :dead:

I said you lied about me blaming the voters and saying they didn't care about the poor and working class. Where the fukk did I do that same thing anywhere here? You're just straight making shyt up.

Nowhere in here have you once provided evidence for your false claim that I had blamed Bernie's loss on the voters not caring about the poor.

The media? Really? The guy was honeymooning in soviet russia

That's fukking perfect, goddamn you don't know how to keep from burying yourself. Yes, in 2020 the all-out media blitz against Sanders was a big factor. In fact, the "Bernie Sanders honeymooned in Soviet Russia" claim is rated "Mostly False" by snopes.com, a website you've repeatedly cited yourself for fact-checking, and yet mainstream media pushed that claim like crazy.

Bernie Sanders actually honeymooned in St. Lucia, not the USSR. The trip to Yaroslavl was official government business to develop a sister-city relationship between Burlington and Yaroslavl as the Cold War was coming to a close and relationships with the USSR were thawing. He traveled as the head of a 12-member delegation, and the idea for the partnership was proposed by Robert Daniels, a University of Vermont professor, and planned long before Sanders's marriage.

How fukking perfect that you just highlighted the media making a false claim about a 32-year-old event that bore zero relation to the presidential race, and tried to use that as proof that the media was not biased against Bernie.

Meanwhile, right in the middle of the campaign Biden had just made up a random lie about getting arrested in South Africa while visiting Nelson Mandela, repeated it over and over on the campaign trail, and the mainstream media barely touched it. But nah, no bias there, fake stories about Biden's honeymoon and a 40-year-old quote about Cuba being taken out-of-context were definitely much more important news stories than Biden openly lying about his own life on the campaign trail.

Stacy Abrams would have been a tough choice because she's never held office higher than a state house leader, she had lost her last election, and as Napoleon notes, voters hold a lot of bias towards heavier women. Maybe she could have been picked to balance a younger presidential candidate, but when Biden is seen as statistically far more likely to croak during the presidency, I think her inexperience would have hurt the ticket. He needed to pick someone who the public could believe as a presidential candidate.

I don't know that there was a perfect option. Maybe Karen Bass would have been better, but her national profile as a real presidential candidate just wasn't that high. In a different year Julian Castro might have been the perfect candidate, but it was pretty tough for Biden to not pick a woman.

I voted for Warren. Doesn’t mean she can’t be wrong or what she’s calling “rigging” is such.

Bernie lost fairly. Even the reforms the DNC implemented were do-nothing marginalia to quiet the Bernie trolls who couldn’t stop crying foul. Don’t let me bring up that NGP-VAN hack they did on Hillary.

I said you have a class reductionism bias.

Karen bass would be worse. Stop picking candidates to the left of you and you’ll be surprised sometimes. We don’t need far left wingers blowing national elections. Keep the lefties locally.

True, but she had a national profile. Most people who followed that election would agree that Kemp robbed her of the governor's seat and most voters hold a lot of bias toward Black politicians anyway.

If Julian Castro didn't put Biden's age on blast, he may have had a higher chance for that position..

That's not what you said, but that is indeed another lie you've pushed about me in the past.

I'm strongly pro-reparations, pro-affirmative action in both college and the workplace, believe that segregation in the school systems has had a major negative impact on Black children, I highlight environmental racism, highlight anti-black discrimination in banking, insurance, housing, employment, and health care, believe there needs to be major justice reform due to anti-black discrimination, constantly blast systematic racism among the police, point out the major negative effects of residential segregation, push for explicitly pro-black benefits where legally possible and work-arounds where not legally possible. I've literally lost friends because I've refused to drop America's racism as a topic of conversation.

You call me "class reductionist" because I push politicians further to the left than yours, even though your politicians have race histories far more suspect than mine do. And because I think that socialist policies in general can help black people in the long run and can make pro-black legislation more likely in the long run while also acknowledging that they are not sufficient in themselves to make the black community whole.

This is a lot of writing to justify picking and supporting candidates who aren’t interested in winning elections.

At least this random deflection is a fair admission that you're not even going to try to defend your previous lie.
I’m not a fukking autist. You’ve denied being a class reductionist except when you continually admit defending these specious Bernie conspiracies and doubling down on these failed red brown strategies. You posted all those links like we don’t know you or what you stand for. You can’t gish gallop me then pretend you’re above the fray when you don’t like the answer.
