Next day...
I wake up to people asking me why I'm sleeping on the floor near the steps lol. "It was the bed bugs", I told them. I gather myself and set out to do what I had planned. Make it to Napoli. So I go to the train station to retrieve my ticket and the woman says I can't have one until I show her the confirmation email. Obviously I'm not Italian so how am I retrieving emails at Palermeo's Central station? I'm not. The woman I spoke to first was helpful, because she pushed the woman who was dumb enough to tell me to retrieve a random email although I had my confirmation number, who then wanted to converse with another woman knomwing that my train would leave in 10 minutes. Once I got there she tried to rush me it only reminded me that regardless of my nationality or language there's good nurturing women out there.
Anyway I dished out another €53 and got on the train. We rode the train for 2 hours to another city which was beautiful and had a cool vibe.
To go from Sicily to mainland Italy I had to take a ferry, and then another train.
An observation that I've made recently is one that I hope won't stick. Lately I've seen Africans act so rude, its like they have no manners or common sense, I don't get it, you'd think they'd be timid but instead they're self entitled. Its weird.
Also I made it to Napoli and was greeted with a smile by the hostels receptionist. Anthony, this guy is cool I can tell. I thought I had reservations today but I don't but he still allowed me to sleep on the couch (no biggie). And here I am
BTW I'm glad to say I've met some really nice people.
Also I've been slapping that new Ross. I was on the ferry feeling like I was worth 2 private jets.
