You can’t book a match for regular tv a month in advance because a lot can happen in that time. Injuries, family emergencies, flight delays. i don’t see the E booking Raw 2 weeks from now. I mean, yeah, advertise who has a good chance of being on the show. That’s fine.

Everyone was just shytting on Grand Slam because they were at 4k some weeks ago. They doubled that by the day of the event. Of course it was NY and a big tv event, but ticket sales for said show will go up. Probably not dramatically, but if they can get 3k, or close to it, it’s better than what they’re at now.

I get that but with RAW you already know you are getting Judgment Day, you're getting Liv and Dom, you're getting Jey Uso, you're getting Rhea and Priest, etc...

People might not know the matches but they for sure know who is going to be there.

But it's not the same because TK randomly leaves people off shows or they start using PTO and we have no clue where they are....

Like if someone is going to be off for a few weeks or a month, whatever.. do an angle or do a video package or something so people aren't guessing and writing fiction online about their whereabouts.

There’s like 100 wrasslers on the roster. Of course some aren’t gonna be used. At this point, if you’re watching weekly, you should know who’s gonna have a good chance at being at a show next week.

Yeah, several things can be true with this shyt. The size of AEW's roster means you don't know if buying a Dynamite ticket is going to include seeing Mercedes, Danielson, Swerve, Mox, Hangman, Darby or whoever - it'll probably include a few of them, but you can't guarantee your kids favourite will be there - whereas if you get a Raw ticket you have a decent idea that you're going to see the top stars that are drafted to Raw that year.

If you knew that a Collision ticket was going to get you House of Black, one of the women's title scenes, the Conglomeration and the Lucha division showing out I get why it'd make it way easier to buy a ticket a month in advance.

For example, people knew about the tag title match and the ricochet vs ospreay match like two weeks in advance. Doesn't hurt to announce stuff on that Dynamite right after Wrestle Dream instead of waiting to a day or two before and TK randomly tweeting out matches every hour on Friday night. They should already know what group of wrestlers is gonna be available for that time.

And yeah wrestlers can get hurt, card subject to change, but that can be for any show. People show up to a ppv hoping that the wrestler they want to see is gonna be on there but anything can happen. We just hope for the best.

Not sure what you’re arguing. I never said a specific show warrants the “card subject to change” situation.
