They could open the biggest Forbidden Door possible and put Kenny Omega vs. Gunther on the card and I still ain’t paying to go to that show.

You don’t even necessarily have to announce matches more than a week or two in advance, but if you put out like a month in advance that so and so is scheduled to appear then that would help, especially if someone is the type that only wants to buy a ticket if one of their favorites is going to be on the show.

Ricochet speaks on why he left. He said he wasn't having fun anymore. It started a couple years ago when Vince was still in charge. He was getting tired of having to put everyone over and only getting 3 minutes to show what he can do.
In one match he was going to face McIntyre and he knew they didn't want him picking up Drew so they did an elaborate setup to where he could suplex Drew and then he went in the back and they said "No, you cannot pick up Drew. Don't do that again."
Rico was like "I can squat over 400lbs?
" and they were like nope...
Then they had him getting beat on by Retribution for weeks. He did a spot in one of the Retribution matches, still put them over but he got a spot in and he went to the back and Vince said "that was too spectacular. John Cena can't even do that"
They gave him the I.C. title to try to get him to stay but he decided when his contract was up he was walking.

I’d just rather watch on TV. I don’t really like going to live sporting events if I can get a quality broadcast from home.
In wrestling, I’d be much more likely to purchase a ticket for a house show than TV taping for that very reason.
I haven’t even been to my college alma mater to watch a game in years despite it being only a 10-ish minute drive and regular season games being free admission because they got a good quality broadcast.
Exact reason why I say AEW needs to book legit matches for dark matches instead of the junk they give. Give fans something to look forward to that they aren’t going to get on TV, might draw in some that say “I’ll just watch it for free on tv.”
