Collision was such a bad idea. It took the E decades before they decided to do Smackdown. They shouldn’t have made it and focused on making Rampage a legit extension of Dynamite. Is there truth to the reason it was made for crybaby Punk?
Nah breh. Collision was a WBD idea that you can't say no to. They give AEW more money and further establishes their relationship, which is gonna lead to this new TV deal that supposedly makes them profitable.

I've said it before, the fact the business model for wrestling changed the way it has will be a detriment to the quality of the product but promotions can't say no to A LOT more money for more content.

If the network you want to stay on comes to you during the middle of media rights negotiation season saying “we want to pay you more money for this new show” then you do it.

People will just bring up Swerve's rap lyrics to discredit him but I do find it interesting how people pick and choose with which racism they are ok with and not just in wrestling, in general.

Same thing with politics, dudes in TLR saying "Kamala is a c00n!" But then they support Trump like... what? :what:

Fact is, the only time you ever hear someone say a wrestler ain't worth blank... is when it comes from racist Podcasters and racist fans... and it's always about black talent

:francis: Wrestling is all a illusion. Nothing makes sense. Swerve a goofy, but proud dude getting his due because he's nasty in the ring. Man could turn into Hayabusa and switch to Terry Funk in a instant. Real proud of the breh. It further proves that we are all just outsiders and don't know shyt but make ASSumptions of wrestlers.

Don't get me wrong, for every Starks sitting in catering on his Pac before Suge steez, there's a Jade that's willing to take the backburner despite being pushed as the next biggest thing.

Its all a weird stigma of reality. Like a circus mirror (fitting that this wrestling shyt is a circus in general). At the end of the day, fans would dead this tribal nonsense if they realize that its all not what it seems. Its still a job, still a gig, and if folks getting paid...who are we to bytch beyond dumb ass booking on all accords.

I know this a month away but they gotta advertise people for this show ASAP. Especially with a venue debut and small setup. Capacity is 9k.

Full Gear isn't until late November so they can def have some short term plans for this show, especially after Wrestle Dream. Even just announcing the usual Collision crew such as The Outrunners, and Hologram would help. Throw in a match for one of the titles on there even better.

Shane must be having a influence because this the 2nd time a AEW talent was on the breakfast club

I don't know about Shane but Mercedes agent is I believe Snoop's agent or at least it's the same Hollywood talent agency. It's one of the big 3, she signed with them after leaving WWE.

They needed people to fill the Cody void

I would think just Mercedes connections outside of her talent agency would be able to help out with stuff like this if she’s willing to put the word in.
