Isn't one of Ricky's best friends in the business Cody Rhodes? Ricky was likely out the door as soon as Cody decided he was out the door. But until we hear more about it from any type of reliable source, it's all just speculation...

Wasn't Ricky Starks in a main feud with Bryan Danielson after Punk left? Not sure sure I see a correlation here... Starks is routinely seen out with Cody, it's clear they are very close. Not sure why it's hard to believe he already made his decision.

Everyone has their own reasons for why they leave one place of work to go to another. Ricochet said he wanted to go have matches with his friends. There was probably more to it like money or maybe he didn't feel he was pushed the right way in WWE but not everyone is going to badmouth the last place they worked either..
