Almost done with Cold Steel 4. Bit of a wait for the other games but not tripping I got enough in my backlog to last me a while and I can use a break from the series for a bit went through 7 of the games this past year.

Since, you played all previous games besides Lloyd's game, how did you feel about cold steel 4 and how they tied it all up?
I have only played cold steel, so I know I missed alot encounters that should've impactful.

I have only played cold steel, so I know I missed alot encounters that should've impactful.

Overall I enjoyed it. I thought it was really cool to see all the characters come together from the other games and I thought they did a good job at that. I already knew that I was going to see those characters from Trails in the Sky so it didn't really give me that feeling like that. But in the end you're going to miss some finer details but its not enough to really impede the story where you will get lost on whats going on.

Just wrapped up Trails in the Sky SC. It is kind of funny how FC felt like a prologue to this game. But great characters, story, writing, and music. And combat is really good. Easily earns its status as a definitive classic. Granted playing on hard was a bytch as it is a SIGNIFICANT difficulty increase from FC.

While Trails may or not be for everyone. Any JRPG fan owes it to themself to play this game (well FC since it is necessary lol). And I played this through Bootcamp so there is no excuse.

Now on to Sky the 3rd.
