I like Zelda and this game in particular, but you definitely one of them ones that say off the wall shyt like this which is why folks say Nintendo stans grade shyt on a curve. It's not like this game is remotely difficult. You mention shyt about it not holding your hand, but most of the shyt isn't necessary either. It's just has a varied amount of ways you can go about stuff, which is great for sure, but in plenty of cases, not needed nor hard to do. Also, more narrative focused games and preferences towards them isn't a bad thing either.

It's fine and well to be excited for the game, but no need to be disingenuous about it or slight folks that prefer other shyt opposed to it.
It's not remotely hard to you? Really? You down to do a Master Mode run when it drops?

I'd start the game on Master Mode if it was available from jump. But since that usually isn't the case, I doubt it, as I'm not likely to beat long ass games twice over and it'll liable to take me over a year to beat it the first time as is, due to time and taking breaks from long ass games.

And no. No Zelda game that I've played would I consider them remotely difficult out the gate. If hard modes aren't present at onset, then it's not as likely that I'd get to them tho. Just is what it is with any game for me. The hardest thing about BOTW was the very beginning when you're getting used to the controls and no weapons and low health and the Master Sword quest. Everything else was about average difficulty really. Not even saying that it has to be some uber difficult game, just that as a series, it's never really been anyways, so it's funny talk and doing too much to think some folks need hand holding just because these last two games have a myriad of options as opposed to other open-world, adventure games. I'm duly aware that you could make the game harder on yourself by not upgrading shyt or keeping your health low, but that's not how I ever play any game, aside from doing select challenges or something.

I don't normally come to the forums to hate but Zelda is the most overrated series. The title says don't post open spoilers like this game gonna have a story. You knew damn near everything you needed in BOTW in the first 15 minutes and you just spend the next 100 hours walking around doing shyt that has nothing to do with the main quest. I'm damn near certain Nintendo kicking out cash for these mediocre ass games to get perfect scores.
GQ just had a top 100 that was voted by developers in the business and journalists.

BoTW was voted #1: https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/best-video-games-all-time

Now, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that list shouldn't change how anyone feels about the game.

But... I think they just make good games homie.

got confirmation it should arrive saturday…but looking at the tracking info, it’s close enough that it could be updated to tomorrow…I’m good either way…if it comes tomorrow, I’ll play a bit before basketball comes on…if not then I have most of saturday (no basketball) to play it
