Nickelodeon revealed today that The Legend of Korra: Book Four is premiering on Nick.com and the Nick app starting Friday, October 3. (Yep, as in this year!)

The news comes from series co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, who announced the series' return in a new video. "Get ready," DiMartino says. "Every Friday on Nick.com and the Nick app, you can watch a new episode -- so stay tuned. It's going to be awesome."

This is obviously a very quick turnaround for the animated show, which concluded Book Three just a few weeks ago (and has a Blu-ray release coming out this December). Clearly, the network is eager to get Korra's final season out there as soon as possible.

Over the weekend, we learned that Book Four is called Balance. Now, Mike and Bryan's video reveals the title of Book Four's fourth episode: "The Calling." (Let the speculations begin!)

Haha I just came in here to post this.

A month-long wait in-between seasons is incredibly jarring with no real promo.

I really don't know how to feel about it. On the one hand, I barely just took a breath. And on the other, kinda excited for it.

It's clear to see that Nick just want to get Korra off their books as quickly as possible. They probably think that the longer the gap was before the new season started, the more fans would try to call for another season to be added on.

Yeah but whatever the case, Korra was never gonna do more than 4 seasons like the 1st Avatar series. So unlike Young Justice, Korra is being given it's full run.
