How is Asami just ok with everything? No yelling or anger? Just snide female comments?

Yeah she's taking all that shyt pretty well for her age. Her pops a racist, her boyfriend dumps her and unwittingly rubs it in her face.

I new broads in my high school that went Naomi Campbell on their lockers going all psycho and shyt because some lame nikka dumped them.

Great episode.

Only real issue I had was that they went a little overboard with the Korra/Mako romance.

Nice season finale but I did have a couple of problems with it. Many possibilities with the story was erased due to the season finale being rushed. The ending was also complete bullshyt.

It wasn't rushed. Season 1 was always supposed to have 12 episodes. Season 2 will have 14. Unknown if there will be a season 3.

It's just that unlike the OG cartoon, each season will have a different main villain. As opposed to the earlier cartoon (which was always planned to have three seasons), they don't know how many seasons this will get so they make each one self-contained in case they don't get another.

that avatar state shoulda kicked in a couple seconds after he took her powers, that bullshyt ass Aang appearance was straight assmilk.

and there was zero build up to her being able to airbend, she had problems with it a few episodes earlier and they never said anything about that shyt again until she randomly became a grandmaster wind wizard to beat amon.

The only thing that bugs me is - they never explained how exactly Amon could remove people's bending. Was it some sort of chi blocking? Spiritbending? Amon blocking off part of the brain that has to do with bending? If it was just chi blocking then I would think somebody would be able to just undo it, and I don't really see how someone who isn't the Avatar can spiritbend.

All Tarrlok said was basically"Idk how he does it but I guess it has something to do with bloodbending...". And of course during the flashback he mentioned that the Avatar was the most powerful bender because he could take away bending. So that established his motive but not really how he can do it.

I mean Tarrlok couldn't take away bending, neither could Yakone, and they were both bloodbenders. Katara knows how to bloodbend (even though she won't) and she couldn't figure out how to undo the bending block. So that leaves me wondering if only waterbenders can remove people's bending, or if it's something other benders could learn.

Maybe something to explore in Season 2.
