The point of the matter is, its ridiculous to say her muscles don't matter when its literally all that mattered in the game. This is basically a different character we are seeing.

It's not ridiculous to say the muscles dont matter, because this isnt the game. How bout ppl stop bytching about the muscles until the season over with and they see how they handle the shyt.

Clearly they won't be focusing on her size in the show, because they choose the smallest actress in the series so far to play her. They are going in a different direction completely with the character. I suspect they either struggled to find actresses with the build to pull off source Abby, or they felt some of the content related to her strength wouldn't translate well to the show so they completely changed her character.

Though they rescued Abby in the game, she put in a little work too.

Even through the stress they had a basic human respect for each other. Why would he hide his name if they thought he killed everybody. What were they going to do? Look it up on the internet?

They made plenty of other changes in the show because it’s a TV show. It can’t let pacing run wild like a video game, and the SHOWRUNNERS can highlight different things they think the viewer should be focused on.


Stop consuming this like someone with Asperger’s. Just enjoy the ride fam.

Sure, he’ll just ride his horse through that big 100 strong horde that was directly behind them, and even when they peeled off towards the wall how was he gonna get past that?

So you think Joel leaving Dina to a stranger in a random ass cabin was something Joel would do? He couldn't take Dina to Jackson seeing that shyt was crawling with infected to the point they had to use the "lit shyt on fire" strategy and he didn't know if he could even make it in the storm. It's one thing for him to sacrifice himself for others, but I don't see him sacrificing someone like Dina.

I disagree but regardless of that, that's not bad writing no matter how much you try to rationalize it. Not liking an outcome is not bad writing in itself. Dina was freezing cold and getting worse, TV show Joel not dragging her to fight a horde of infected if he had an alternative makes sense. Specially because there was a storm Joel didn't even know he could survive in to make it to Jackson in the first place.

I need to watch it again, but I'm pretty sure they were very close to the cabin and Abby told him her group was armed and they can fight.

If thats the case it seems Joel was under the impression he was getting more manpower to defend Jackson

That is what happened. Abby said they were a minute away from the cabin and they could help joel fight. Before this scene Joel specifically asked if they were armed in the mining compound.

Hell, when they arrive at the cabin, as soon as Dina got a blanket on her, Joel was bossing the group around telling to arm up and get ready to leave
