I know. I just thought they would try to do something different for the TV show. Particularly since so many from the gaming side still hate the Abby character. Thought they would try to do more in the TV show.

Yea, it was definitely True Blood. I never watched the show but my mom's and lil sis used to watch it and I'd catch it when I was over there. I never watched Queen Sugar so it was definitely True Blood. She used to always be around the gay vampire nikka lol. I definitely remember that shyt now.

What popular (maybe only black folk popular) show/movie was his wife in the show in? I for sure watched something she was in religiously, but I can't remember. I thought it was The Chi, but that's not who played the lil nikka mama.

True Blood she was the main characters best friend and ended up becoming a vampire herself. Quite a few actors were on that show. The girl from Daredevil, Alexander Skarsgaard, and a few others. For as cheesy as that show was, it boosted quite a few people. And we know HBO likes to keep using actors.

They hid the fact that she was immune, not their identities. Everybody knew their names. These strangers didn’t seem like Raiders/Cannibals so they introduced themselves to them too. Did you actually play the game or watch a YouTube recap?

Anyway, this was one of the best episodes of TV I've seen in a while. The battle in Jackson was raw as fukk and then we got that ending...

Nobody does it like HBO....

While the game is better from a writing/acting pov I gotta admit I like a lot of the little tweaks, like us seeing Dina notice the WLF patch

And the shot of Joel looking at Jackson burning and not knowing if Tommy is ok being one of the last things he saw

because there’s no way in the absolute world - Joel sees that huge ass explosion while riding this stranger who he just fukking saved her life to some random ass cabin and chooses to take her back rather than the place where he has lived for over five years , invested & helped built up that community , where his biological brother is and his surrogated daughter is … YET doesn’t stop and tell that bytch to hop off & head back to Jackson

that shyt literally makes no fukking sense
