They had Abbie monologue like a supervillain for no reason
Then they had her punching Joel like he's even going to feel them when she's not BROLIC like in the game
Doesn’t really matter how brolic or unbrolic a person is unless their 3 years old any continued punching to a FACE is going to cause physical pain.
They also showed her..you know…BEATING HIM RELENTLESSLY WITH A GOLF STICK AFTER SHOOTING HIM IN THE LEG
That sequence was as brutal as it needed to be and the girl didn’t need to be Clarissa Shields to pull off the brutality of the sequence.
While the game is better from a writing/acting pov I gotta admit I like a lot of the little tweaks, like us seeing Dina notice the WLF patch
And the shot of Joel looking at Jackson burning and not knowing if Tommy is ok being one of the last things he saw

Abby uses the golf stick on his legs twice. Then the next time we see her she's punching Joel in between scenes. When Ellie arrives later and goes into the room you see Abby still punching Joel. if you're gonna change it up from the game where Abby was ONLY using the club and you now have Abby use her fists then you gotta at least get an actress who is physically imposing to make the scene not look goofy.

Yea, it was definitely True Blood. I never watched the show but my mom's and lil sis used to watch it and I'd catch it when I was over there. I never watched Queen Sugar so it was definitely True Blood. She used to always be around the gay vampire nikka lol. I definitely remember that shyt now.
