Just finished 1st I have to say.

It's the BEST Triple A playstation game of this gen, hands down and it honestly might be the best triple A game of this gen for a lot of people.

I can't really say this is better than horizons or GOD of war.

To me Horizons story runs circles around tlou.

God of wars gameplay is right or par if not better.

just got to an early on part again where Dina literally asks Ellie why they think she was a spared, she just puts it down to just simply them not being the ones they were after, not saying it couldn’t have been written around better, but they kind of address it

Saving a swole combat experienced chick that happens to have a whole camp ducked of in the woods during a snow storm is MAD suspect.

And then going In With your guard down completely.

There's a reason alot of people have a hang up with that. It's not a coincidence

You do realize that they were in the middle of a blizzard with a horde breaking into the place they were hiding at. Hell the horde chased them all the way back to the mansion. All 3 of them would've died there if they didn't go to the mansion. Plus Joel is soft af from no action happening around Jackson. You can read the logs that date back nearly a year and Ellie's Journal, they barely find any infected on their patrols to the point where Ellie calls them boring. Why do you think Dina and Ellie are just chilling smoking weed during one? Because nothing ever happens

Stop it. Joel barely trusted them. It was Ellie that got Joel to play nice with them. shyt, at this point Joel JUST started trusting Ellie and this was midway into the game.

So Joel is gonna go along with what a kid says instead of his own experiences

did you guys play the game or watch Youtube videos. Owen stops Manny and Jordan from killing both of them because "They're not who we came for" and "They didn't do anything wrong". Abby gets mad and tells them that they're done then they leave. It doesn't even matter if they were alive or not. Dina and Jesse were able to find them and Tommy was able to track the WLF crew days after it happened. The only way for them to get away clean would be for them to kill all five of them, which wasn't happening.

I think it's a little more daring to handle the storytelling Pulp Fiction style as opposed to parallel. It would also change a lot about the script because the themes of the story hit different depending on the way things are chronologically placed

Yeah except Pulp Fiction wasn’t a 25 hour movie

your riding that emotional roller coaster as Ellie and it just stops on the top of the highest climb. It does go down eventually but only because you switch characters for way to long imo. I had fun with Abby because they put her in some of the games best action sections but maybe it’s me, I wanted revenge and a resolution to the last scene we had wit Ellie the entire time

I think I finally landed on team neutral between Abby and Ellie I wanted to lean more towards Ellie out of familiarity, but she was becoming the monster I wanted to view Abby as by the end

Abby isn't a killer like that, she's a solider and you see that throughout the game.

I wondered why they didn't kill them all either but it's clear Abby, Owen, Mel and Manny and most of the others in that group aren't just killers.


Plus she knows that Abby is immune, I'm sure in the back of her head killing the only immune person isn't a great idea also.
